Tone is EVERYTHING in sales
Your tone is closing deals before your words ever get the chance. Slow it down. Lower your voice. Remove the urgency. Calm authority builds trust faster than excitement ever will. If you shifted your tone today, how would your conversations change?

This is it right here. Most people think they’re losing deals because of objections… when really it’s energy leaking through their tone before they ever get there. When I slow down and drop into certainty, everything shifts — prospects lean in, they open up more, and the conversation feels like guidance instead of persuasion. Urgency without grounded authority feels like pressure. Calm conviction feels like safety… and people buy when they feel safe. Lately I’ve been focusing on letting silence do more of the work — and it’s wild how much more people reveal (and close themselves). Appreciate this reminder. Tone really is the close before the close.

Hi everyone — excited to be here. I’ve been in high-ticket sales for several years, primarily in the entertainment space, working with families in acting and modeling mentorship and development. It’s a high-trust, high-emotion environment, so I’ve really learned how much sales is about energy, presence, and connection just as much as strategy. I’m based in the Minnesota/Wisconsin area. I joined this community to expand my network, get around other high-level thinkers, and continue refining my craft. Right now, my bigger vision is to create enough income and freedom to retire my husband within the next 5–10 years, while building something that feels aligned, sustainable, and actually enjoyable long-term. Excited to learn from all of you and grow together.
***March Reading Rec***
📚 Current read rec: Focus on the Process by Thibaut Meurisse If you've ever hit a goal and felt... nothing. Or set one and quit two weeks in — this book is the reset you need. The premise is simple: the problem isn't your goals. It's your process. The results you want are just the natural outcome of following the right process. And honestly? That's been my mentorship philosophy since day one! I don't teach sales reps to chase closes. I teach them to build the process that makes closing inevitable. Most salespeople are addicted to the outcome — the commission, the "yes," the dopamine hit. But it's what we do consistently and deliberately that actually moves us closer to achieving a specific goal. This book breaks down: → Why "process goals" beat outcome goals every time → How to break the cycle of excitement that makes you quit → How to stay consistent when motivation is gone It's straightforward, practical, no-nonsense — and only 80 pages. You can read it in a weekend. If you're serious about building a sustainable sales career (not just a lucky month), add this to your list!!! Drop a 📖 below if you're reading it or want the full breakdown of how I apply process-first thinking in my own method.

This is so aligned. I’ve been realizing more and more that it’s never actually about the outcome — it’s about how you show up every single day. Your mornings, your energy, the way you do the small things… it all compounds. I really believe how you do one thing is how you do everything, and in sales especially, that consistency is what people feel. Sales isn’t just strategy — it’s energy. And when your process is clean, intentional, and embodied, the results naturally follow. Excited to dive into this one and refine my process even more. Appreciate you sharing this.
