I love the first design best! 😍
My time will come...
Hi everyone, I am new here as of today. I am so glad I found Bailey. Her videos are extremely helpful, and I love that she doesn't gatekeep. She truly inspires me!! I am a wife and a mother of 5 beautiful children. I wanted to start my Etsy shop so that I can eventually have more time to spend with my kids and family because I feel like I barely get to spend the amount of time I want with them. I am not trying to get rich. I just want to make enough to replace my typical out of balance work life and work on my own hours while having time to spend with family. I started my Etsy Shop on March (2025) making designs for t-shirts (for now) and I've been learning more as the months go by. I bought Canva pro and after a month I invested in paid mockups. On month 2, I've invested in an SEO tool and Creative Fabrica. My listings and mockups look clean, all of my titles, tags, and descriptions have optimized keywords. Yet, still no sales. 😭 This is very discouraging, but I just realized it has only been a few months and although some people make sales within weeks or a month, we are all on a separate journey. Also, I should have known better but obviously I wasn't thinking logically when I listed my products in Etsy. The thing that I just realized (i don't know why it took me this long) is that I wasn't making my designs ahead of time so by the time I pushed my products out, they weren't in demand anymore. Now I know that I should start creating things for fall even though it is only June. I didn't realize this right away so that is on me. Anyway, I currently have been paying for the Printify subscription since March, I think it's about $30ish per month which if I'm being honest is a lot for me because I have not made any sales, so it is just hurting my pockets because now I am currently not working since school is out (I am a substitute teacher). Anyway, I am heavily considering switching completely over to digital products altogether since it is free and there is no monthly subscription fee. Not sure if I should just add digital items to my current shop (I have almost 200 items in my shop) and let my physical products die out after the listing expires in their time of 4 months. Or should I make the shop both digital and physical, or if I should just focus on making my shop an all-digital shop.
Welcome & Where Everything Is! 🎉
Hi there and welcome to the new community!! A few things, please watch the video to see where everything is and how to use the group and take note of the following! ⬇️⬇️ Please make sure you do not share your Etsy shop, the shop link or other website info. This is for your own safety as while we'd all like to think everyone would not harm other's chances, this is simply not the case unfortunately. It can cause conversion rates to drop with lots of visits and people can also be very closely 'inspired' from your listings. Make sure any images of creations you share do NOT have your logo, name, company/logo watermark. (if you want to watermark what you post, that's fine with a generic one, just don't do it with your shop/site info) Please no affiliate links. Please no posting to external tutorials (this is only to not cause mass amounts of conflicting info as there are a hundred ways to do things :) ⭐👍💓✔️ If you somehow found this group and don't know who I am/what I do, I'm Bailey, the owner of the one of the largest digital shops on Etsy, owner of a digital design subscription site, YouTuber and digital product coach and owner of Bailey's Design Club for Etsy and Bailey's GROWTH Club here on Skool where I help others build digital product businesses with AI :) To compare all communities and ways to access: https://digitally-purposed.com/the-shop Feel free to introduce yourself and what you hope to gain from the group! :)
