Does dominance of certain microorganisms change season by season and what natural environmental factors make the biggest change?

Excluding bacteria and fungi, does the other soil life remain consistent or are they life cycle loops

I'm trying to take a shortcut from the microscope road because trying to become a microbiologist will take up valuable time that I could spend pottering around outside. It's a shame that we can't see our invisible friends another way.
Amendments
If I understand correctly, certain soil amendments favour different soil life, would they be any advantage in making a global soil life food? What would it be a mix of and when is the best time to apply it. I did use a fish, blood and bone mix several years ago, which work well , but it's difficult to find and I believe it could overload the system.

Great answer, thanks
After spraying compost extract
What happens directly after spraying compost extract do the microorganisms establish in their new habitat or do most of them die and add to the nutrient soup from the compost and directly feed the plants, or does the extract feed and boost the native biological life?

@Landen Schaelling I have heard the no sift argument before, for seed compost this tends to be impractical, is the reason purely to keep fungi intact?

@Landen Schaelling If I had a microscope, would l use it correctly and would I know what I was looking at?
