Sunday morning
I'm fortunate that my house backs on to 550hectares of mixed forest and today walking the dog, the smell of spring and new growth is intense.

@Colette Tamilio I wouldn't say our dog was a good dog , it's always looking for food to seal .

I delivered dozens of seed packets today. I pin them to public bulletin boards and leave them at the two free plant swap locations in town.

People on the fringe of the community are not always the ones that profit the most from charity. Also giving someone a crutch when they need to build muscle trough encouragement is not a solution. Like offering a bicycle to a lazy person when all they want cable TV and pizza .

@Jeff Dugan I tried to start a seed swap/library and it failed miserably, the village I live in is very small and everyone prefers the" normal "thing of buying what you want from a shop.

The curly part at the tip has a nutty flavour and after enough have popped up they'll be nice saute in butter.

I didn't actually know there was a plant called wallflower or that it came before the term was used to describe a shy person until today!

There's two different types of wallflower Siberian a perennial and cultivated varieties which are usually biennial.
