Wisdom isn’t found piling up knowledge, it’s the finding of hidden patterns of meaning, beauty that can renew individuals and reunite the community. It may be that the survival of humanity depends on the acknowledgment of our tribal origins! You're Invited to the Global Turning Point for Indigenous Leadership, Health, and Humanity Join Us: July 31 – August 3, 2026 | Kelowna, BC | Lake Okanagan The world can’t afford to keep building outdated communities on broken systems. We are facing a global health crisis rooted in poor nutrition, environmental collapse, and failed colonial development models. Food is now the leading cause of chronic disease and death. Prescription drugs kill more people than all wars and terrorism combined. This is not just an Indigenous issue — it’s a planetary emergency affecting us all. That’s why I am calling on changemakers, visionaries, and healers to join us for the historic Kelowna International Indigenous-led Canoe Regatta, featuring the longest inland Hawaiian Outrigger Canoe Race in the world (135km) — and the simultaneous launch of the Global Indigenous-led Health, Wellness, and Chefs Alliance & Summit. Under the banner of the Healing Earth Institute, I will present the culmination of over 35 years of research — a world-first: the proposed First Nations-designed Health & Wellness Community Resort, featuring an International Centre for holistic, integrated, and nutritional healing. This revolutionary model promotes “food as medicine”, delivering better-than-organic food from farm garden to plate, and offering a proactive alternative to the pharmaceutical-industrial complex. This global model is designed to be replicated across all 630+ Indigenous communities in Canada, and internationally — to build resilient, self-sustaining communities that reclaim sovereignty over health, land, and culture. We are also gathering Indigenous and non-Indigenous medicine people, plant specialists, healers, and food visionaries from every corner of the world — to align in unity, share knowledge, and forge a new path forward.

Thanks for the kudos Michael. However in my view there are only two kinds of people in this world givers and takers and either part of the problem or part of the solution. It is easy to see where most people are in this world by the state it is in. Many people can talk the talk but few can walk it.
