2 year old and slurred speech
I have a 2 year old coming for regular adjustments since a few weeks. We got really good results with the gait (that's what mom was worried about). But I have noticed that his speech is not great, almost like a slurred speech. He is a mouth breather and has seen an ENT recently. They advised adenoids and tonsils surgery. I have worked on the sphenoid and palate a few times, I'm not sure what else I could work on to help. He might have a tongue tie but I am not sure how to confirm it. Any help will be appreciated, thank you !

How is his NS tone? Does he spend much time on his stomach? You can get him to stick his tongue out slightly and breath normally this will help train him to breath through his nose more. If he is low tone we have had great result with using the skippy ball and rolling kids either prone or supine to encourage integration of reflexes and engage the neck mm more. Pus it's a fun way to if he has a preference of side. If walking was an issue its probably also the sacro occipital pump and checking glute stength will help fire up the NS. YOU GOT THIS!
It's working
Following up from my case where my client had more snoring post a sphenoid lift adjust. I was all prepared with the balloon exercises that Simon had suggested to help. Before I could even speak he said "I don't know what you are doing but its working! My snoring is gone completely". So this is my win for the week, trusting in the process even when I am unsure myself how to explain it, or reverse engineering what's happening.

Learning to find the balance between pushing myself to grow and respecting my body when it needs rest. Also getting more kids and families in even when they have no issues and having them stick to care because they see the value in our care.
More snoring post sphenoid adj
Hi all I had a client that had the worst snoring after a sphenoid lift adjustment. He asked me if any other clients have reached this way. Has anyone had this happen and if so what was your explanation?
Hey Gang
I’m Maria from Germany with my own vitalistic practice in Potsdam near Berlin. Studied at the AECC in the UK and graduated in 2012. I’m a big fan of the Floreanis ❤️🙌🏻 Pretty excited about this Skool business… I’m super into treating and helping my patients who have had trauma or are struggling mentally. We have seen people heal their gut issues, chronic conditions etc with helping them cope mentally (and with chiropractic of course!). Chiropractic is more than just the crack for us, it’s where people go because they weren’t seen or listened to somewhere else. I want to improve my skills regarding all the methylation infos, that would tie in amazingly into our practice and so far DNA is pretty complex ;-) A recent win was a menopausal woman who was in a lot of chronic stress, with gut issues and weight gain over the last few years who’s lost all confidence in herself and was pretty depressed - we got her back to being this beaming, full of life, charismatic, confident and pain free person who tackles her life and family with happiness! How awesome :-) I want from this community a judgement-free and non ego based honest communication platform and sounding board for all topics related to vitalistic chiropractic ❤️
