The Restorative Power of Gratitude
As the week comes to a close, it’s easy to remember the things we didn’t finish, the moments that felt heavy or the places we wish we had shown up differently. But gratitude has a way of softening those edges. It doesn’t erase what was difficult, but it shifts the way we hold it. In Yoga Nidra, even a simple reflection on one thing we’re grateful for can calm the nervous system and invite a state of rest. Gratitude opens the door to presence. Take a moment to pause. Breathe. And let one memory, one small thing you’re thankful for this week, rise to the surface. What is it for you? SHARE it below. Your gratitude might spark someone else’s. Remember to SIGN UP to the Virtual Gratitude Experience! ✧ Sept 21, 2025 | 10AM PT | Virtual ✧ 90 min online gathering ✧ Invite only (You have to Sign Up!) ✧ meaningful connection, reflection, and, of course, gratitude. ✧ mission: leaving people better than we find them.

Energy Speaks in Sensation 🌙
Our bodies are always speaking, though not always in words. Sometimes it shows up as a heaviness in the chest. Other times, as a spark of lightness after rest. In Yoga Nidra, we learn to pay attention to these subtle shifts. Sensations are the language of energy. When we notice them, we begin to understand what the body and heart are asking of us. This week, try listening in. Not to thoughts or stories, but to the quiet hum beneath them. What’s one way you’ve felt your energy shift in the past few days? More spaciousness? More tension? SHARE what you’ve noticed here.

@Robyn Law I am also experiencing a difficulty with clearly expressing myself to others lately. It’s almost like my body knows what shifts I need to make in life but my mind hasn’t caught up or isn’t fully on board when I try to explain it to others.

@Diana Patel it is amazing how the energy of others can so easily affect us.

When we rest together, something changes. Our nervous systems mirror one another. We begin to feel supported, even in silence. Will you make time this weekend to rest? Drop a 🌙 in the comments if you’re prioritizing rest!

@Amy Gilliam we often have a "yes" weekend where the kids get to pick the activities, so I feel like we could turn it around into a "yes, this is what our bodies need" weekend. What memories you are creating for your family

Would you be interested in a 7-hour Nova Nidra that goes through all of the chakras and finishes with the soul star chakra!? I am considering making a compilation on YouTube of the whole chakra series in a single video.... It would be designed to carry you through all the chakras uninterrupted. SHARE '❤️❤️❤️' below if you would be ready to try this as soon as Wednesday!

I listened to this last night, I definitely couldn't stay awake for it all, but it was the first morning waking up in a while where I really felt grounded starting my day.

Please join me in giving a heartfelt welcome to Sam, who will be supporting Cat and me behind the scenes as we continue to nurture this beautiful community! A little bit about Sam: 🚗 He’s a huge car enthusiast. 🏸 He’s competed at the state level in badminton (so yes, he’s got a competitive streak... and a compassionate heart!) 🧘‍♂️ Meditation has been woven into his life since before he was even born — his mom meditated daily throughout her pregnancy, nurturing the calm energy he naturally carries. After connecting with Sam, I can truly say his energy is welcoming, steady, and filled with genuine kindness. He embodies the spirit of Nova Nidra: peaceful, grounded, and open-hearted. ✨ Let’s make Sam feel at home! ✨ Drop a comment below and share one of your favourite passions or hobbies — maybe you’ll discover something you have in common with him!
