Dear all, My coach has warned me: People will not appreciate nor will they take action when you give away stuff for free. I didn't want to believe it. I built this group to over 1200 swimmers and swim parents but I've just become more and more disappointed :( So I've decided to close this group in the next 3 days. UPDATES! Icelandic and Youth Championships in 50 m Pool 2025
I forgot to mention that last Saturday I also participated in relay 4 x 100 m freestyle, my time was 1:09.19 which was fine, basically keeping my time from last month. But last night I was called for the relay 4 x 100 m medley where I swam 100 m butterfly. I managed a great time 1:16.81, about 1 s better than the morning 100 m butterfly (1:17.94). I am very happy as I felt a bit stuck in butterfly lately.

Icelandic and Youth Championships in 50 m Pool 2025
this weekend I competed for this big tournament for 50 and 100 m butterfly and also supposed to compete in 50 m freestyle. Due to an important test in Math on Friday I missed the 50 m freestyle. But I did the other two with PBs (+0.81 s - 50 m and 2.26 s - 100 m). For 100 m I am reserve for the final and I might compete in relay medley, not sure though yet. It was a difficult competition but I feel great now.

SH competition 22-23 March 2025
Last weekend I had another competition on 50 m long course. I'm happy with what it turned out as, in the end, did some small improvements or more or less keeping my times from previous competition in February! 200M butterfly was a hard one (🥈), still need to find a better balance in the pace during each 50 m and I felt very tired for the next one which was 50M free, showed in the results. Though afterwards I went home and chilled, which gave me strength for the next two races 200M free and 100m butterfly. On Sunday I had 100M free and 50M butterfly, did not manage to improve the times. I need to improve my training, perhaps I need to push a bit more and get out of my comfort zone.

I'm glad that you are happy with the outcome. You gave your best I think. Hope for you, you find a better pace and you figure out what you need to improve in training. Keep going!
Swim meet nerves
Hey so I have a big competition coming up on the 28th-30th March. I'm not sure how to mentally prepare for it so that I can swim my best and not let mental worries block my performances do you have any suggestion or tips for me?

Hey Ashley, If xou start with the mini course, 5 Videos with hints and after that questions to answer, you already get half of what you need to start calmer in your next competition! It is about breathing and visualization... that will reslly help you!
