@Nick Benger yes, but had to fit their life style. We had a poodle when I was young and they had a sheltie much later after dad had a heart attack and was told to exercise. They loved all our Dobermans though and used to look after them for our holidays while they were young and fit enough. It’s lovely how gentle and careful Leto is with mum now she’s really old and tottery.

A big gap!!
Haven’t posted much as we just do variations of the basics most of the time. Did have a big win when we met a huge black horse. Closest that Leto had ever been to one as the rider stopped to say hello. Leto is not used to black ‘dogs’ that much bigger than him and was in shock. Wish I could have photo’d it as the look on his face was priceless. He sat nice and calm being a good boy though. Also here’s a video of one of our challenges. Leto makes a massive fuss about jumping then clears it by miles. 😂😂

Leto put up with another black male dog sniffing his rear end for ages while its owner tried and failed to call it away. Leto did slowly put his hair up all along his back but instead of whirling round and seeing it off, stood with me smoothing his ears and telling him he was being a good boy until the owner finally came and removed it.

Live with husband and 4 yr old Dobermann, Leto. Leto and I trained with Nick when we lived in Bristol but retired and moved away. Good to reconnect.
