A little piece of what God has done for me
The accident that disabled me put me in a wheelchair, I had about 29 fractures from head to toe. My femur splintered above my left knee, the 2 bones below my left knee fractured, the cartilage, muscle, ligaments were torn through. My right foot was crushed and dislocated, my sacrum was fractured, alot of fractured ribs, fractured sternum, c2 vertebrae in my neck was broken, and my skull was fractured. My parents were told that my brain rattled around in my skull. Nerves were damaged in my face. After a very bad night of pain my face and eye went through a very noticeable change and a stroke alert was called. I had a pneumothorax and several liver lacerations, and 1 on my pancreas. After testing, it turns out that I didn't have a stroke, I had a pseudo aneurysm on my left carotid that could become a full aneurysm if left untreated. I did have right sided facial weakness and my eyelid wouldn't stay closed even when it was taped shut, and I had double vision because my eye was stuck looking sharply towards my nose. I had blood come out of both ears and I still have ringing in my right ear. I threw up blood in the ER. It took 45 minutes to cut me out of my car and I had to be life flighted to the nearest city that had a trauma 1 hospital. After being stabilized there, after 4 days I was transferred to St Francis in Tulsa because I had to have a very intensive surgery done to my left leg and that was the nearest place that had a surgeon that could do it. It's all a very long story and I have it written down, but not typed yet. I may put it out for anyone who wants to read it in the future, but I have a testimony where Jesus kept showing up for me and my parents. From 1 hospital to another and finally to a rehab hospital, it was about 5 weeks. The accident happened the day before Easter in 2021. Everywhere I went people looked at me in amazement. From the highway patrol officer telling my Dad on the scene that when you see a car like that, the person is usually already dead or they die just as the get to the hospital. Then all the doctors and surgeons and nurses and specialists and the rehab specialists. No one had ever seen someone hurt as badly as me live. And no one had seen someone do some of the healing I did without surgical intervention. I can tell you that it was definitely God. When the driver crossed the center line and hit me, I was on the phone with my Dad and he was there in 10 minutes. He started calling people and my Stepmom got on social media and had people start praying for me, immediately. All through that first year, the procedures, 2 more surgeries on my femur, getting my eye stitched shut and more; people kept praying and God kept showing up. He's an amazing God and I want to be with Him.
