What's Your Word Of The Year?
Imagine you have one word tattooed on your forehead. Every time you look in the mirror, you see it and check in with yourself: Are my decisions aligned with who I am and who I’m becoming? Am I moving toward this word or away from it? That’s the power of a Word of the Year. It becomes your filter. Your compass. Your gut-check before you say yes, no, or “maybe later.” Screw resolutions we’ll forget by February. Let’s focus with INTENTIONS! Maybe your word is: Growth. Steady. Fun. Discipline. Heal. Serve. Build. Intention. Clarity. Action. Legacy. Value. There’s no “right” word. Just the one that pulls you toward the life and business you actually want. So here’s the invitation: Pick ONE word you’re willing to look at all year. Use it to check your habits, your calendar, your opportunities, and your boundaries. What’s your word of the year, and why? Drop it below so we can see it, remember it, and help you live into it.

@Pod Guesters Yup. They go hand in hand. I like the focusing question. I included it in my reply to Devin above. Here it is: The Focusing Question," from The One Thing book, is a powerful prioritization tool: "What's the ONE Thing I can do, such that by doing it everything else will be easier or unnecessary?"

Clarity Crisis and what I am doing about it
Something subtle but dangerous is happening. Over the last year, I’ve had dozens of conversations with professionals in my network, clients, collaborators, people I’ve worked with or just exchanged one message with. And a pattern keeps surfacing. These are people who are smart, capable, and ambitious. They're not lacking drive. They’re not lazy. They’re not confused about whether they want more out of their work and life. What they’re missing is traction. It starts with questions that seem normal: “What should I focus on in the next few months?” “Should I shift my offer or stick with what’s working?” “Do I go all in on this next big thing or slow down and regroup?” But then those questions multiply. And underneath them is something heavier: indecision, hesitation, overthinking. It turns into: “I’ve got too many options. I don’t even know what to prioritize.” “I keep starting things but not finishing them.” “I feel like I’m working hard, but nothing’s moving forward.” Sound familiar? You’re not alone. What you’re experiencing is what I call a Clarity Crisis. You’re still moving, but you’re not moving forward. You’re still working, but the results feel flat. You’re still consuming, planning, tweaking, researching, optimizing, but you’re not deciding. Clarity is not going to show up on its own. You have to create it. Otherwise, you fall into a loop that’s way too easy to stay stuck in: You second-guess. You hesitate. You download another planner. You listen to another podcast. You talk yourself into waiting for the “right time.” And you wonder why January turns into June and nothing meaningful has shifted. I know, because I’ve been there myself. I’ve had years where I looked back and realized I was busy the whole time, but I wasn’t proud of where I landed. That’s why I created the 2026 Clarity Planning and Goal Setting Workshop. A 90-minute hands-on session where we cut through the fog and build your 2026 roadmap It’s not just about goal setting. It’s about building a practical plan rooted in what actually matters to you, and cutting out the noise that’s been hijacking your focus.
