My Heart's in the Highlands for Jackie
Hey music friends. I wrote this melody for a Robert Burns poem for my mother-in-laws memorial coming up. I would love some feedback. I am hoping to bring a sense of goodbye and her love of Scotland.

This exercises helps to allocate syllables of notes across the pentatonic scale! It's a lot harder than it looks! Good Job everyone!

How can i improve?
I feel really stuck, for now itās been one year of practicing vocal exercises almost everyday for 30 minutes to 1 hour a day and i feel my throat a lot more free, but still i have a very cracky tone and off key, i want to sound very smooth and on key like Soul and Rnb singers do, Michael Jackson, R.Kelly, Beyonce, Celine Dion, Whitney Houston are my inspiration

You have a very beautiful voice, Miguel, and RnB fits very well to itš As a non English native speaker I love your pronounciation, it is so very clear. And you have that bouncing feeeling when you are singing, I love that. I am not a vocal coach so I can`t really give you a tip on how you could improve even more. We want to grow our skills further and further, now don't we? Allow me to make an observation and maybe check back with a vocal coach on that. Maybe you want to try singing the song with a little more compression of the vocal folds - the good type of compression thoughšI hope I am not telling you complete nonsenseš

Learning Baby, Baby, Baby by Aretha Franklin
Hi Paul and everyone. Iām having a hard time with timing for this song. Any tips for that? I feel like I sing this song mostly in my mix. Should it be sung in mostly head voice? How do you properly learn a song? Should I just stick to learning the bridge first before moving on? I just run through the whole song to get the timing down first, but Iām singing it wrongish. And thatās bad to repeat singing it incorrectly?
