The True Meaning of Community: A Sunday Revelation
Something powerful happened at church this Sunday that completely shifted my understanding of what community really means in practice. I met a woman who asked me to pray for her because she saw grace and success in an area of my life where she was seeking breakthrough. After I prayed for her, something clickedāI realized she had grace and success in an area where I was currently struggling. So I asked her to pray for me too. In that moment, it hit me: This is community. Not a hierarchy where some have it all figured out and others donāt. Not a one-way street where weāre either always giving or always receiving. But a beautiful, reciprocal exchange where we each bring our strengths to cover each otherās gaps. We werenāt created for selfish, individual pursuits. We were created for thisāto be interwoven, interdependent, and mutually strengthening. Your strength covers my weakness. My grace fills your gap. Together, we rise. This is exactly why I created this Skool community. Not just to teach or to learn, but to build something where we can all bring what we have and receive what we need. Whatās one area where you have grace that could bless someone else here? And whatās one area where you need the community to lift you up? Letās be intentional about this.
