🔥 CREATORS — LET’S GET INSPIRED 🎬💡
One of the fastest ways to level up your craft isn’t just by creating more…It’s by studying those who move you. 💭 Prompt for the Week: Share one creator, filmmaker, or content piece that inspires you. Post a link or a screenshot and tell us: - What makes their content stand out? - What specifically inspires you — is it their editing? Storytelling? Color? Energy? - And how could you bring some of that into your own work? 🎥 Maybe it’s a cinematic travel video… 🎙️ A fire piece of spoken word content… 📱 Or someone on TikTok who's breaking all the rules. Drop your inspiration below 👇

Seen this one from Fin Kwong the other day, really nicely spaced out video and great editing as well. Lot to learn from this one https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HVak_7LdwhA
anyone know how to use a soft box?
i have an amaran 60x, i use a 26 inch shoft box - my camera says the lighing is +1.3 but it doesnt look bright on my skin, i have it quite close - would it be better to have a larger soft box - this one i have to put up to 30-40% but i feel like my old £30 ring light was better

26 inch soft box is pretty small, i'd have gone for a 36 inch minimum with the 60x that you're using its not that strong so the light is being diffused quite a bit. Doing that's gonna solve most ur issues. Try get it as close as you can to your face as well, I know you already mentioned that but enough so its not in frame. So yeah, get a bigger softbox or a stronger light. Also shoot low aperture to get more light in
What’s the best computer for video editing?
Hey legends, just after some advice I’m looking to buy a laptop for editing 4K video. What are you guys using, and what would you recommend? Keen to hear what’s worked well for you in terms of performance, rendering speed, battery life, etc. Cheers!

Macbook Pro M2 +, if you can afford a pro highly recommend. RAM is crucial for video editing, so try get 16b or aboe and storage space as well, 500gb is hell but doable - aim for 1tb. Don't be afraid to get an older model as well, the M chips are top. New laptops dropping in a month so older laptops will prolly go down in price a bit more as well
