Microgreen and Seed Starting Bench
I was going to wait to share my microgreen bench until I had it fully completed. However, I decided I want to share it before this group is no more. I have most of it completed. I just need to add the wood boards across. I just need to decide what size of boards (1x3 or 1x4) to use on the top, what to use on the bottom (boards or hardware cloth), and spacing. I'll need to also find something I can use to protect the bench from the rain and sun that is affordable and natural.

Important Update About This Group
The other day, I shared that I’ll be closing down Microgreens for Profit. I want to expand on that for those who missed the post or had questions. Here’s the reality: ✅ My goal has always been to help serious growers build real businesses. ✅ Managing multiple groups has slowed that down. ✅ I’d rather put all my time and energy into ONE place where growers can get the coaching, tools, and real answers they need. Microgreens Business Coaching is that place. For those of you ready to take this seriously — whether you’re just starting or growing full-time — that’s where you’ll get my full support, resources, and weekly calls. This group will stay open for a few more days, then everything moves over. If you want access to: ✔️ Monthly coaching call ✔️ All my tools, apps, and spreadsheets ✔️ A private community of serious growers Join here: https://www.skool.com/microgreens Let me know if you have questions — I’ll be in here for a few more days before we shut this down.

Thank you Mike for this update, and pouring your experience into this group and people here. While it is sad to see this group go as there is no other one like it on skool. We all understand. God bless!
Big Changes Coming to the Group — Read This
Hey everyone, I wanted to let you all know about an important change happening with this group. After July 6th, Microgreens for Profit will be closing down. But don’t worry, this is part of a bigger plan to make sure all the resources, coaching, and support are in one place, not scattered across different groups. The truth is, I’ve been running multiple groups, but the free group here has been pulling me away from where I can help people grow their businesses faster — inside Microgreens Business Coaching (MBC). So here’s what’s happening: ✅ Starting today, I’m inviting everyone here to join the MBC group for just $5/month — this gives you access to the community area, two live calls every month, and some free trainings. ✅ If you want the full coaching experience, tools, all classrooms, and weekly calls, you can upgrade inside the group but the $5 tier gets your foot in the door. ✅ On July 6th, this group closes. After that, all content, support, and conversations will happen inside MBC only. This keeps everything organized, delivers more value to the people who are serious, and helps me focus my time on getting everyone real results. Next Steps: ➡️ Join MBC here: MBC $5 Join Link ➡️ Keep an eye out for reminders over the next few days ➡️ After July 6th, this group will be shut down Thanks to everyone who’s been part of this journey so far, excited to have one strong community moving forward. Let’s grow like pros!

Weren't you going to do this last year? Did something happened that I missed?

@Jessica Hicks I completely understand. Too many pots in the oven so to speak can spread you thin or wear you out. I was just curious. I thought maybe I missed something. I wish I could stay along for the journey. However, it would like you with running these two group. I cannot commit to growing microgreens right now fulltime and grow flowers and vegetables fulltime. I get more benefit getting outside working on my garden and watering the plants than with microgreens. Although it does physically wear me out more. Mentally, I cannot handle just growing microgreens and being stuck inside most of my day. Doing it all part time may be the better route for my body and health. Thank you for what you and your husband have been doing with sharing your experience and pouring all of that into this group and the people here as well. God bless!
Wood Racks
Quick question here. I am thinking about building a wood rack/table to grow microgreens in a high tunnel/greenhouse. I cannot remember the ideal spacing between each shelf. Can someone here remind me what this is? Maybe, I should look in the classroom. I don't remember if it is mentioned there or not. Thanks!

@Joe Naiman-Sessions Probably just going to do this testing or experimenting while it is warm enough and get enough sunlight. Since, I am already outside working in my garden and watering my flowers. I figured it make it easier to grow microgreens outside as well. At least until it starts getting cold in the fall. I then may try again growing inside. I had my challenges because my basement is not a good place to grow plants. I think the only thing that works are the greens that grow fast and don't need a lot of watering. Everything else struggles the longer it sits in the basement.

@Joe Naiman-Sessions I have to use what I have access to and what I can afford. If my test work out on a small scale then as I sell all my crops and flowers and grow. I can then have the budget to increase and buy better quality of equipment. Thanks!
Growing Microgreens Outside
Hello, I was wondering if there is anyone in this community that does grow or has tried growing microgreens outside? Is this possible? What kind of setup do you need? Which microgreens grow best in this environment? What best advice and recommendations would you give to someone who is considering trying this? Thanks!

@Astrid Pingshaw I'll look into it. Thanks!

@Jim Flach Not sure if this would work for microgreens. I think they need temps in the 60s or 70s to germinate.
