HI @Kirsten Mathews , preparing some material for my Skool Community to have it ready soon 😊. I have some ideas about this topic, specially about romance scams after listing to a podcast from Maleware bytes. Let do the coffee hour, I live in Germany so not sure what time will fit.
Romance Scams 💞💐.....💔❤️‍🩹
Ok so lets talk about romance & scams, and how it can happen to anyone 😢 Romance scams are one of the most heartbreaking types of fraud out there. They don’t just steal money — they play with people’s emotions and trust. 👀 What to watch out for: - They often move fast — talking about love and commitment very early. - They avoid meeting in person, making excuses about distance, work, or safety. - Eventually, money requests show up — “emergencies,” “travel costs,” or “investments.” 🛑 Red Flag Tip: If someone you’ve never met in person asks for money or gift cards, it’s almost always a scam. 💬 Community Question: Have you ever spotted a romance scam (or helped someone else notice one)? Share your story below — it might save someone else from falling into the same trap.

I have seen it, gladly I help an aunt stopping before was late. The main problem is they are really sneaky with the request.
Small Change.....
Ok just a FYI for everyone, I have added a couple more categories for our chats. Which will hopefully keep things organized and more specific to what we are engaging in. Here is a quick run down and if anyone has questions please reach out! 1. 🚨 Scam Alerts & Red Flags A space where we can: - Share scams they’ve recently seen or experienced. - Post screenshots, texts, or emails to warn others. - Ask “Is this real or a scam?” and get feedback. 👉 I am hoping this builds trust and makes this group a go-to resource for staying safe in real time. 2. 🛡️ Prevention Tips & Education A category dedicated to: - Bite-sized tips on spotting scams (from you & from you guys). - Posts about common scam tactics and how to avoid them. - Simple guides like “3 red flags to watch for in phone calls.” 👉 I hope this will keep our group valuable and educational, reinforcing my mission to help as many people as I can. 3. 🐾 Community Lounge (Off-Topic & Fun) This category is where members can: - Share personal wins, funny stories, or even pet pics. - Celebrate scam-free milestones. - Connect casually beyond the scam-awareness focus. 👉Lets build relationships and retention to our community, let have some fun to!!
