Bring Us the Messy Middle
A CRM might be tonight’s topic, but the real conversation is much bigger than software. The messy middle is where most business owners get stuck. The leads are coming from five different places. The next step is unclear. The tools are not working together. Nobody knows who owns what, and the owner is still carrying the entire damn process in their head. That is the space Business Lab is being built for. These calls often start with a lesson, then turn into something closer to a creative working room for entrepreneurs and business owners. People bring real questions, unfinished ideas, confusing processes, and the parts of the business that feel harder than they should. Together, we name the actual bottleneck, compare what is working, share useful resources, and think through a clearer next move. Tonight, we’re talking about understanding your CRM, choosing the right tool, and deciding whether DIY or done-for-you makes the most sense. But you do not need to show up with a polished system or even a CRM. Bring the messy middle. That is where the useful conversation begins. We’re not creating Business Lab to be another place where people collect information and leave with 27 more tabs open. We’re creating a practical room where business owners can learn, collaborate, and build a calmer, clearer way forward. Come Vibe with us tonight inside Business Lab for Zoom | 4:00 PM Arizona | 6:00 PM Central | 7:00 PM Eastern https://www.skool.com/busines-lab-5864/calendar?eid=b77a646e0b9f4aba909df1ad56834ca1

The goal was never to own a CRM.
The goal is to build a system that protects your opportunities, handles the follow-through, and gives you some of your damn time back. Tonight, we’re wrapping up our four-week Business Lab CRM series with DIY vs. Done-for-You and the Right Tool for the Job. Before choosing a platform or paying someone to build it, you need to answer three honest questions: Do you actually have the time to learn and build it? Do you have the skill and patience to test it properly? And what is every additional week of manual follow-through costing your business? DIY may be the right move when your process is simple, your volume is manageable, and you genuinely enjoy the tech. Done-for-you may make more sense when the learning curve is stealing your week, the system needs to be running sooner, and your time is better spent doing the work that produces revenue. We’re also comparing ten popular CRM options, what each one does well, where each one falls short, and why choosing the biggest name or longest feature list can leave you with an expensive system nobody actually uses. A CRM only creates a return when it fits the business, is built correctly, and becomes part of the daily process. Half-built systems do not save time, strengthen follow-through, or protect opportunities. They just become another monthly bill. If you’re stuck between building it yourself, bringing in support, or figuring out which tool actually fits your business, join us inside Business Lab tonight. 4:00 PM Arizona | 6:00 PM Central | 7:00 PM Eastern Join us inside Business Lab for Zoom: https://www.skool.com/busines-lab-5864/calendar?eid=b77a646e0b9f4aba909df1ad56834ca1

New here? Pull up a chair!!!
💙 We actually want to know what you’re building. We’ve had some new faces join Business Lab, so first, welcome. @Jenny Rader-Bakos This is not a community where you need to pretend everything in your business is polished and figured out. Bring the thing that is working. Bring the thing that keeps breaking. Bring the idea you are excited about, the system you are trying to clean up, the AI tool you are experimenting with, or the business problem you have been staring at for way too long. Business Lab works best when we actually know each other. That is where useful conversations, collaboration, resources, and sometimes completely unexpected connections start happening. So if you’re new, jump into the comments and tell us: What do you do, what are you building right now, and what is one thing you would love some perspective or support on? And if you’ve been here for a minute, go say hello to someone new. You never know who might have the exact experience, idea, or connection someone else needs. Really glad you’re here. Let’s build some cool stuff together. 💙
