Why Some People Stay Busy in Wholesaling But Don’t See Consistent Deals
A lot of people get into wholesaling and immediately start doing the work Pulling lists, calling, texting, learning scripts, trying to follow up, staying active every day And that’s the right move in the beginning But after a while, some people notice something frustrating They’re putting in effort, but the results don’t feel consistent One deal might come through, then things slow down again Then it feels like starting over And it’s usually not because they’re lazy or not trying It’s because everything they’re doing isn’t fully connected yet Leads are coming in, but follow-up isn’t structured Conversations happen, but there’s no consistent way of handling them Every situation feels slightly different, so nothing becomes repeatable So instead of building momentum, each deal feels like a separate win Meanwhile, the people who start getting more consistent results aren’t always doing dramatically more They just make things more repeatable early on Same type of outreach Same follow-up rhythm Same way of qualifying and communicating So even when deals don’t close immediately, their pipeline doesn’t reset It keeps building That’s usually where the shift happens when effort turns into something structured Feels like this is one of those things most people only notice after being in it for a bit Curious if anyone here has gone through that phase or is currently in it

Why Some People Struggle to Get Consistent Deals (Even When They’re Working Hard)
In wholesaling, most people assume the main issue is effort — more calls, more leads, more outreach, more follow-ups And while activity does matter, I’ve noticed that effort alone doesn’t always translate into consistent deals A lot of people are doing the work every day, but the results still feel random One month something hits, then things slow down again, then it becomes another cycle of trying to restart momentum And it’s not usually because they don’t know what to do It’s more because the system around their effort isn’t fully clear or structured in a way that compounds over time For example, when a lead comes in, how it’s handled, how it’s followed up, and how it’s tracked often varies from deal to deal Or how their presence looks from the outside whether that’s outreach messages, conversations, or how they position themselves it changes depending on the situation instead of staying consistent So every opportunity ends up being treated like a one-off situation instead of part of a larger system Meanwhile, the people who seem to stay more consistent with deals aren’t always doing dramatically more work They just tend to have more structure behind what they’re doing Their process is repeatable Their communication is consistent And their presence doesn’t reset every time they talk to a new lead So instead of constantly chasing the next deal from scratch, things start to build on top of each other over time It feels like that’s the part most people don’t notice early on because at the beginning, effort can still carry you But as things grow, structure starts to matter just as much as activity Curious if anyone else here has noticed that shift while doing deals
