I'm gonna get in trouble for this, but as someone who grew up inside a religion that constantly preached out there were 'demons' inside everything and everyone was out to get us, I just don't give a shit anymore. I know they're out there. I know they're going to try to kill us. Have they? Not yet. I guess I just started mistrusting what people said and what they did a long time ago. So if they create something that I can manipulate for my own uses, I'm gonna use it. I grew up scared of my own shadow, convinced the apocalypse was around every corner. I had nightmares that seemed so real I was convinced I was having visions of the future. Horrible things. Then I got pretty sick and have stared death in the face a few times. Enough so I decided I just don't care about all the stupidity preached in the world anymore. So they're out to get us. So what. What's the worse that could happen? They kill me? Great. I've survived that enough that I'm at peace with it and have faith that the afterlife might just be another life. Heresy, I know. People are fucked up and evil. It's a fact and there's nothing any of us are going to do to change that shit. It's good to be aware so you don't go into your adulthood as naive as I was thinking that my religion was the only way I would be 'safe'. Then the church elders betrayed me and I realized they were all just men who didn't truly follow the God they preached about. We are lied to every single day about pretty much everything. Don't trust your lying eyes. You can't! So all you can really do is decide for yourself what lines you're willing to cross and what you're willing to live with.

@Shane McGrath Thanks - it's why I listen to what you're saying, pretty sure you're right, but I'm just not sure how much I care. Doesn't help that I'm running on fumes right now! LOL Probably adding to my 'attitude problem.'
