What are you struggling with currently in your business?
We are coming into Quarter 4 of 2025. It’s kinda scary! Are you getting closer to achieving your goals for 2025 or have you hit it already? What are the areas you’re currently struggling with in your business? And How can I help?

@Ina Jalil i feel proud that i offer printed products and it makes me very happy when my clients value their images enough to invest in that artwork especially instead of going to a department store for prints. 1 thing i appear to struggle with is bringing feelings and emotions into my copy or just when i talk to leads or when someone asks me what i do. i got feedback from a recent lead who didnt book who said they didnt see the value for the pricetag and compared to other photographers. i admit i didnt do a very good job on that consult call so thats something i need to work on. i also struggle to get leads in the first place. with connecting with my story, what story would that be?

Sales - How are you perceiving sales?
I attended a Mind Money Body Bootcamp today and wow… one of the speakers absolutely blew me away. His name is Anthony Vizzari, and he’s one of the top trainers from SWISH Sales Coaching — the same team that teaches selling with integrity, not pressure. Now I have heard him speak before back in August when I attended Dreamfest. And since that talk I had implemented what he taught then in my scripts when I call leads from giveaway or when I talk to clients at the consultation. I have found my booking rate has improved. Today, He broke down how to have powerful, emotionally intelligent sales conversations that don’t feel like selling at all. And then… he pulled me up for a live role play. 😅 Let’s just say, it was both nerve-wracking and eye-opening, he completely flipped how I think about questions, tone, and connection during client calls. I’m working on getting the recording so I can upload it into our Classroom in this community. It’ll be something you can unlock once you reach a certain level (hint: the more you engage in the community, the faster you’ll get there ). Now I’m curious, are you calling your leads? If so, how do you go with those calls? (Drop your thoughts below. I’d love to hear what’s working for you!)

@Sherri Krams thats my issue as well. my last client i booked was already wanting to book. i then got another lead from someone who i guess was shopping around and i definitely stumbled on the consult call and they didnt book cos they didnt see the value for the high price tag compared to other photographers.
Wall art client love
I am still working on my confidence in the products I offer, but it is so nice to see the excitement in clients that walked in knowing they wanted to display their images in their home! I took them through the entire process including showing them different options on their own walls. They are so happy with their prints!! Ina has been such a great guide and push for me to believe in my offering! Thank you 🥰

@Ina Jalil ive done the exact same and ive been doing it for a few years now. I use it for both business and personal. I keep it in my notes app so I can access it from my laptop and my phone.
Showcasing prints and artwork
How are you showcasing that you are a full service photographer specialising in creating custom artwork?

@Ina Jalil i would do that but at the moment, ive been delivering all artwork to my clients homes. my house and yard just isn't nice to look at and i feel it would devalue my brand if clients saw it.
Introduction
Hi, I'm Isabella and I run a portrait and lifestyle photography business in Darwin, Northern Territory. I don't focus on just one niche as I like variety but I do love taking photos of dogs. My business is currently extremely casual and I struggle with visibility, putting myself out there, confidence, conveying the value to justify my high prices etc. This is my red heeler cross Lulu.
