As-salamu alaykum, I’m Naida. I’m a Senior Business Analyst in the Civil Service, and I’m transitioning toward entrepreneurship to serve the Muslim community. With over 4 years in innovation and a background in accessibility advocacy, I’m passionate about building tech that addresses real needs within our ummah - particularly around financial wellness and Islamic principles.

I’m Idman Hussein, joining from Birmingham in the UK. I am the co-founder of ZakatFlow and have over four years of experience in software engineering. We are building zakat infrastructure to help Muslim business owners and accounting firms calculate, track and report business Zakat accurately and transparently, in line with Islamic principles. We are currently in the MVP/early adopters phase and I’m excited to be part of this community. Over the next 7 days, I want to prove that business Zakat is a recurring pain point for Muslim business owners and the accountants who support them, and that there is real demand for a more reliable and automated way to handle it than spreadsheets and ad-hoc judgements.
