From 10 Years in a 9–5 to a New Door Allah Opened for Me
I’m 35 years old now. For nearly 10 years, I worked a regular 9–5 job. From the age of 25, I brought home about $1,000 a month. In the beginning, it felt stable — safe, predictable. I was grateful to have work and a steady income. But as time passed, the weight of reality grew heavier. Trying to support a family on $1,000 Trying to be present for my parents when they needed me Trying to stay hopeful while feeling stuck There were months when I calculated every expense down to the last dollar. Months when I felt frustrated because no matter how hard I worked, my income never changed. Still, I kept making du’a, asking Allah to open a way for me to provide more for the people who depend on me. Deep down, I knew I was capable of more — I just didn’t know where to begin. Today, Alhamdulillah, I earn around $10,000 per month through my ecommerce journey. But the greatest blessing isn’t the money. It’s being able to support my parents with ease. To take care of my family without fear. To live with peace instead of constant financial pressure. I’m not sharing this to impress anyone.
