EVERYONE’S SEARCHING FOR SOMETHING MORE
In a world where any dish is one Google search away, cookbooks keep flying off shelves. Jamie Oliver has sold over 50 million. The reason isn't the recipes — it's what cookbooks represent. They promise a better version of our lives: calmer mornings, nourishing meals, the quiet pride of creating something from scratch. They fulfil deep needs for comfort, identity, connection. Cookbooks are "comestible self-help" wrapped in beautiful pages. Because the cookbooks we treasure don't just teach us to cook. They make us feel something. And that's exactly why someone needs the cookbook only you can write. If that idea has been simmering — the one you've half-imagined but never started — I've created something to help. My new module, THE COOKBOOK YOU’RE MEANT TO WRITE, just went live inside my Skool community. It took months to build because I wanted it to be genuinely practical — no padding, no vague inspiration. You'll learn to craft an idea that feels completely yours, get clear on who you're writing for, discover the thread that ties everything together, build a structure that makes sense, and create a book ready to be published. Got a cookbook living rent-free in your head? Time to evict it onto the page. So what’s your cookbook idea? Let me know. I promise I’ll respond. https://www.skool.com/how-to-write-about-food-8335/about

@Heather Boers my members are interested in learning how to write about food in a descriptive, nuanced way. Blogs, feature articles, cookbooks - and more.
Be honest — would this make you stop and read?
It was really tasty and nice. The flavours were good and the texture was great. I’d definitely have it again. Or this: A thick, juicy patty, seared to a smoky, caramelised crust, releases its richness with every bite. Warm juices soak into the soft, toasted bun, mingling with melted layers and subtle heat. Each mouthful is savoury, indulgent, and just messy enough to make you lean in for more. Same idea. Very different impact. Clarity gets attention. But felt experience is what converts. 👉 Curious how to make your content land more clearly (and memorably)? I explore this through food writing here:🔗 https://www.skool.com/how-to-write-about-food-8335/about
