First listening session in the books. It was great to dig into some of the early hard bop that I never really explored during my jazz education. I'm not near a piano this week, but that's not stopping me from shedding. I'm still hosting sessions 9-9:30pm EST tomorrow and Thursday evening. During tonight's session, I practiced my ear training using an amazing app Stefon Harris created called, Harmony Cloud. It's great for all levels and I can definitely feel its effects when I'm improvising live. I hope you all will attend!
