Gravel Pursuits
Did the 2 bridges gravel APR this morning in Linlithgow. Great group ride with the usual apr group system. I was in the first group with enough of a punch in this group for me. Jumping on the faster groups as they come by. These are cracking training rides if anyone is looking for 80km of mixed surface to get their teeth into. Gravel Pursuit Scotland is the Facebook group.

Apple watch
Switched my watch. Apple Watch from Santa. Anyone made the switch from Garmin that could share any tips?

@Alan Cardwell seems to be nae good for the bike either. Think I’ll keep my garmin on ice. I suppose the head unit does the bike.

Mywhoosh vs Zwift vs Rouvy
So far I’ve only used Zwift which is handy for either turbo at home or Wattbike at the gym. Curious if anyone has really dived into mywhoosh or rouvy and if any noticeable pros and cons. I’m going to give mywhoosh a go as it being free is quite appealing and on the face of it seems to do everything Zwift does.

Using TP virtual. Pretty good set up and free with the TP account. Same as Zwift.

The Many Flavours of EnduranceworX
This community is made up of people with a variety of interests in Endurance sports. Most of our people are Triathletes but we do have Cyclists, Runners, Duathletes, Aquabikers, Paddlers, Footballers and recently Hyroxers. Our coaches, most of whom are still active athletes have experience as athletes and coaches in all of these sports. So we can all get to know each other let us know what your flavour is. I shall kick it off.

Like Grant not a competitor, just a participant. I’ve been participating in events over the last 10 years. Smaller Running events leading to a few Marathons then into the crazy world of Triathlon. Sprint to xtri and Celtman. Now after a life event I’ve been enjoying cycling more. Gravel is my go to with a couple of Scottish events booked for 2026. Looking forward to being part of the community and hopefully catching up on the trails. Franco
