Just a quick Cherry Pie tossed together. Almost lost it pulling it from the oven though.. the pie plate folded a bit and it almost hit the floor!

Thanks for the warm welcome, Roy. Appreciate you having me here. A little about me: I’m Henry, and I run a baking community called Baking Great Bread at Home on Facebook and Crust & Crumb Academy here on Skool. I’ve been baking bread for years, wrote a few books on it, and spent most of my career in marketing and advertising before turning my kitchen into my office. What caught my eye about this group is the mission. Eating well without breaking the bank isn’t just a nice idea, it’s a real need right now. And bread is one of the best places to start. Here’s what most people don’t realize: a homemade loaf of artisan bread costs about 50 to 75 cents in ingredients. That same loaf at the grocery store runs $5 to $7, and the stuff at a bakery is $8 to $12. Once you learn how to make it yourself, you never look at the bread aisle the same way again. And it’s not complicated. You don’t need fancy equipment. Flour, water, salt, and a little time. That’s it. I teach people who’ve never baked a thing in their life how to turn out bread that looks and tastes like it came from a professional bakery. If anyone here is curious about getting started, I’m happy to help. I’ve got free resources, beginner-friendly recipes, and a community full of people who were exactly where you are not long ago. Looking forward to being part of this group and learning from all of you too. Smart shopping and smart cooking go hand in hand. Henry https://www.skool.com/crust-crumb-academy-7621/about
