@Dave Roberts You're very welcome, Dave! So lovely to have you here! I think you've come to the right place! One of the things I love most about Tarot is how it encourages us to explore different perspectives, ask questions, and discover things about ourselves and the world around us. And sometimes, the most interesting insights come from the conversations we have with one another! That's exactly the kind of community we're building here at Arcana & Insight: a place to learn, share, be curious, and connect with others along the way. I'm curious, Dave, have you explored Tarot before, or is this the beginning of your journey with the cards? What is your fave deck?

@Dave Roberts I have fallen in love with the traditional Rider-Waite-Smith deck, but I did not start with it on my Tarot journey. My fave, and what has been with me for over 25 years, has been the Spiral Tarot, which is a 90s deck with tons of esoteric imagery and dreamy illustrations.

🤔 What's in a Name? A Little Arcana and Insight…
🎡 X marks the moment… Let’s turn the Wheel on 10/10!
The Wheel of Fortune is card X or number 10 in the Major Arcana of the Tarot. It speaks of fate, fortune and life’s changing cycles: the doors that close, the opportunities that appear and the unexpected turns that change our direction. In numerology, 10 reduces to 1, connecting the completion of one cycle with the beginning of another. A fitting card to explore on 10/10! You might think of October 10 (10/10) as a symbolic “portal”: a threshold where we pause, notice what’s changing and consider what we’re ready to step into. What feels ready to turn in your life? 🚪 Before our live masterclass on Saturday, October 10 at 20:00 UK time, let’s do a quick check-in with the card! Take a moment to look at the card. Let your eyes wander… 🔍 Which symbol catches your attention first? 💭 What does it make you think of or feel? 🎡 If the Wheel could say one thing to you today, what would it be? No need to look up a meaning! Start with a color, a creature, a shape or a feeling. Whether you’re new to Tarot or have been reading for years, I would love to hear what you notice! Share your first impression in the comments, then have a look at someone else’s. Did they spot something you missed? 👇 Want to explore further? Join us tomorrow for Unveiling the Arcana: The Wheel of Fortune, where we will explore the card’s history, symbolism and connections to our own lives. Premium and VIP memberships include access to the live masterclass, so if you’re in either tier, come along and join us! 📅 Check the Calendar for the joining details. Let’s see where the Wheel takes us! 🎡

@Desirae Peral Yes, Desirae, such a clever detail! The letters spell TAROT, but also ROTA, the Latin word for “wheel”! There are other ways to read those letters too, which we explored in our live masterclass last week. I agree with you; this card holds a LOT of wisdom (and symbols)! It adds another layer to those cycles of change. Such a rich card to explore, with something new to notice each time!

@Desirae Peral Excellent question! We explored this in our recent live Masterclass on The Wheel of Fortune. The Hebrew letters are Yod, He, Vav and He, which together form YHWH, the sacred name of God in Jewish tradition. Their presence adds a layer of divine symbolism to the Wheel. The screenshot from the Masterclass gives a closer breakdown of each letter; there’s so much to discover in this card!

@Nimisha Sharma Lovely to hear, Nimisha! 💜 The High Priestess and Strength can both reflect parts of you as your intuition alongside the quiet courage you’re finding lately. What is it about Strength that feels especially like you right now?

@Stacy Gaylor Thank you for sharing this so openly! It’s lovely to hear how Tarot has helped you reconnect with yourself and make space for those emotions. I am so in love with the Tarot as well!!! So glad you’re here, and I would love to welcome you to the masterclasses whenever you’re ready! I am working through The Tower content this week and then will chip away at the Wheel of Fortune class we just did. Thank YOU for being here as well!
All reversed...
Every morning I pull a card for the day. Almost every single card I've pulled over the past several weeks has been reversed, with the exception of 1, maybe 2. Thoughts?

Dan, your deck seems committed to keeping you on your toes… or its head! 😂 First, I would check how you’re shuffling and whether most of the deck is facing the same direction; that could explain the streak. But not every reversal is a bummer or a setback! The Devil reversed can be lovely: spiritual freedom, loosening attachments, and stepping out of patterns that have kept you feeling stuck. The Hierophant on his head can invite you to think or do things differently, questioning traditions, challenging rules, and moving beyond “that’s how it’s always been done.” Depending on the card and context, reversals can suggest something internal, blocked, releasing, or ready for a different approach. Have you noticed any recurring themes across the cards? That might tell you more than the reversals alone.

@Dan Mott Yes to reducing the overthinking and showing up! Sometimes, when you want to call in a different energy, pick a card (like the King of Cups, Strength, or even the Magician) and place it on your altar, near your computer, or somewhere you’ll see it regularly. Let it be a little reminder of the energy you want to embody when you find yourself getting stuck in your head. The Cups could be especially lovely for this! Since you wish to move away from all that mind energy and into the heart, cup energy gives permission to feel and flow rather than overthink everything. ❤️
