Food is Health" $30M Revolution 🏥🥕
Breaking News: Medicine and Meals are Finally Merging! Just announced this morning (Feb 13, 2026): A massive national campaign called 'Food is Health' has launched with a $30 million investment. The goal? To prove that nutritious food isn't just 'nice to have' it is a foundational part of disease prevention and treatment. The Kitchen Passport Take: For years, the medical world and the food world lived in different buildings. Today, that wall is falling. This initiative treats food insecurity and poor nutrition as 'clinical risks' meaning doctors are beginning to see a bag of fresh vegetables as just as important as a bottle of pills. It’s a huge win for our 'Real Food' mission! https://www.cummingsfoundation.org/grants/?hl=en-GB If your doctor could 'prescribe' you a weekly basket of artisanal, local produce instead of a supplement, would you take it? Or do you think the medical system is too late to the party? 🥦💊

I think its time to help people the importance of understanding their body and how food helps or doesn't help their body. If we could educate people on the fundamentals of what food does to the body, I think that the responsibility will shift and people would start caring more.

@Bogdan Ion so right now in my community we are talking about eating the rainbow and how the proper fruits and veggies provide nutrition to our bodies.
The "Cigarette" Warning for Junk Food 🚬🍔
The Verdict is In; Ultra-Processed Foods Labeled as "Addictive as Tobacco" A groundbreaking global study released just days ago (February 2026) has sent shockwaves through the food industry. Researchers from three major US universities have concluded that Ultra-Processed Foods (UPFs); like sodas, factory-made sweets, and fast food; should be regulated exactly like cigarettes. The study argues that these foods are not 'food' in the traditional sense; they are 'carefully engineered substances' designed to bypass our fullness signals and trigger addiction. This follows another alarming report from February 7th showing that for cancer survivors, a high-UPF diet increases the risk of recurrence by a staggering 59%. The Kitchen Passport Take: This is the core of our mission. When scientists start saying that a donut should be regulated like a pack of Marlboros, it’s time to stop calling industrial products 'food.' This is why we focus on fermentation, raw ingredients, and traditional methods. We aren't just 'cooking'; we are reclaiming our health from a system designed to keep us addicted. https://www.theguardian.com/global-development/2026/feb/03/public-health-ultra-processed-foods-regulation-cigarettes-addiction-nutrition?hl=en-GB If junk food started carrying the same graphic warning labels as cigarettes (e.g., 'This product causes heart disease'), do you think it would change how people shop? Or is the addiction already too deep? Let’s discuss the 'Warning Label' future! 🛑🍦

@Bogdan Ion i would ask: how are we defining healthy? For example - my kids love seaweed, its healthy but the amount of salt is not - so it is still considered healthy? Blueberries are super healthy for you - but if you eat to many - you could get sick. what are definitions we are using to define "healthy".

@Bogdan Ion yes, thank you.
Gordon Ramsay’s 25-Year Streak 🌟🌟🌟
 25 Years of Perfection – Gordon Ramsay Wins Big (Again). The 2026 Michelin Guide results were just released, and the big story is Gordon Ramsay. He has officially maintained three Michelin stars at his flagship restaurant for an incredible 25 years. Why this matters for us: In a world of 'fast food' and fleeting trends, consistency is the hardest artisanal skill of all. Ramsay’s 'no-nonsense' approach to quality is exactly what we advocate for in the 'War on Fake Food.' It’s about doing the simple things perfectly, every single time. https://www.cityam.com/gordon-ramsay-is-the-big-winner-from-michelin-guide-2026/?hl=en-GB What is the one dish in your repertoire that you have spent years perfecting? Is it your signature loaf, a family stew, or something else? Share your '3-star' home dish below! ⭐🍴

The "Artisanal Fine Dining" Boom 🥖✨
2026 Trend: Why "Boring" Old Skills are the New Fine Dining. A major report just released for the 2026 Melbourne Food & Wine Festival shows a massive shift in what the world’s top chefs are doing. After years of 'molecular gastronomy' and foam, the biggest stars (like James Lowe and Nat Thaipun) are pivoting back to basics: Fire, Fermentation, and Flour. The Kitchen Passport Take: We’ve always said that the most advanced 'technology' in the kitchen is a well-fed sourdough starter and a cast-iron skillet. Now, the world’s most expensive restaurants are catching up, focusing on 'Hyper-Authenticity' and traditional English, Eastern European, and Asian techniques. It seems the world is finally realizing that 'real' beats 'fancy.' What is one 'basic' skill you've mastered (like baking bread or pickling) that you think is better than any Michelin-star gadget? 👩‍🍳🔥

The "PFAS" Pizza Box Ban 🍕🚫
Your Pizza is Safe, but is the Box? The 2026 Crackdown on 'Forever Chemicals'. This week, food safety authorities in Europe and parts of the US are fast-tracking bans on PFAS (Forever Chemicals) in food packaging. For years, these chemicals were used to keep pizza boxes and burger wraps from getting greasy; but they’ve been leaking into our food. The Real Food Reality: This is another layer of the 'Fake Food' war. It’s not just about the ingredients in the food, but the industrial shortcuts used to carry it. This is why we advocate for home-cooked meals and reusable, natural materials in the kitchen. Does knowing about the 'packaging' change your mind about getting takeout this weekend? Are you team 'Home-Cooked' or are you looking for 'Clean Packaging' brands? 📦🧪

While I understand the reasons for the ban, I also think we can sometimes go too far. who is really the ones calling the shots? As a consultant of a company that sells cookware this has slowed sales and let's just say how many businesses will be closed because the government makes the decisions of what we put in our bodies.
