Friday Parking Lot (Oct 16)
Your brain does not need to carry Monday all weekend. Friday afternoon is when the open loops get loud. The email you meant to send. The thing you started Tuesday. The decision you keep circling. Leave them in your head and they ride with you to dinner, to the game, and right into Sunday night. So we park them. In writing. Install line: write every open loop in one list, then circle ONE thing you will do first on Monday. Everything else is parked, not lost. Drop yours below. What are you parking this weekend, and what is your one Monday move?
Pod 3 has Connected!
@Archie Ashcroft and I have kept each other accountable to our daily RISEs! Amazing! And we finally connected via Zoom before yesterday’s session. When the tiniest habit enables gradually more consistent action, it becomes clear the value of this one tiny daily thing. And we’re rooting for each other to add to our “Done” list this Friday! @Quincy Beeker we’re here when you’re ready 🤗

@Crystal Wong Kruger Crystal, this is what it looks like when it works. One tiny daily RISE, then a real Zoom, then a growing Done list. Small habit, big signal. So proud of you and Archie. Pod 3 is rooting for you, Quincy, whenever you're ready.
My “The WALL”
Ever since I moved my desk to another wall, I’ve had this blank space next to my whiteboards. Yes, plural and notice the currently blank weekly calendar. This is where the weekly 3 will go. I had lots of fun with this one with colours that mean something to me and handwritten font. You can’t see it clearly in this photo but I even drew in parking lot lines for my small post-its 😆 and I have a few star-shaped ones left for my “North Star”. @Archie Ashcroft please help hold me accountable to referring to this daily and updating it weekly! @Kim Dickey tagging you also. Excited to see yours! @Rob Nickester

@Crystal Wong Kruger Crystal, this wall is so you. Colors that mean something, your own handwriting, parking lot lines for the little post-its, a North Star. That's not decoration. That's a system your brain actually wants to look at. Archie and Kim, she called you in, so hold her to it. Who's posting their wall next?
Jani named the real fear
Jani caught the real fear this week. She had been ghosting her social posting and outreach. Then she named what was underneath it. Not dread of the post itself. Perfectionism. The belief that if it is not beautiful, thoughtful, and impactful, it is worthless. That is its own type of fear. Then she flipped it in the same breath. One small, simple post today. That is the win. Not a perfect feed. Catching the standard that was keeping you stuck, and choosing the imperfect move anyway. The win is not polish. It is permission to ship small. Drop your own small win below. What did you catch or finish this week?

@Crystal Wong Kruger Crystal, almost a year and you're back on it. That's huge. One first task is exactly how the stuck stuff gets unstuck. Keep your eye right there, and tell us when it moves.
Plan for the week you'll actually have
I used to plan my week for a guy who doesn't exist. Slept eight hours. No surprises. Focused from 8 to 5. Every single day. Then Tuesday showed up. An email blew up, a call ran long, my brain went sideways by 2pm. By Wednesday the plan was just a list of ways I'd already failed. That's not a discipline problem. That's a planning problem. If your plan only works on your best day, it's not a plan. It's a wish. So this week, try this: 1. Look at your calendar and be honest about which days are already heavy. 2. Give the heavy days one thing. Just one. 3. Put the deep work on the day you actually have room. Plan for the real you, not the ideal you. The real you is the one who shows up. Your turn. Which day this week is already looking heavy, and what's the one thing you'll protect on it?

@Crystal Wong Kruger Crystal, that's not weakness. That's wiring. Most of us were never told these struggles are normal, so we keep waiting for proof. Here's your proof. You're not the only one, and you're already doing it. Permission granted, every single week.
