YW goby
Has anyone experienced their pistol shrimp burying their goby? I’m sure it’s the risk of living with a pistol shrimp that’s continuously remodels but just curious if anyone else has had to dig out their goby? 😅😂

It does tend to happen. Did the goby seem stressed out at all?
Introduction
Hello, my name is Miguel. I’m new to the saltwater aquarium hobby and excited to start learning everything I can about building a successful reef tank. I’m planning to purchase my first AIO setup soon and want to make sure I do things the right way from the beginning. I’m looking forward to gaining knowledge, avoiding common beginner mistakes, and creating a healthy, thriving reef environment with both fish and corals. I have already went in to the store to check out the starter deals if anyone has some info on a good size AIO tank to start off in I would be happy to get people’s advice

@Miguel Romero Thanks so much for joining. A lot of customers are really enjoying the innovative marine line. It’s probably the cheapest all in one on the market for the quality. We also recently got the 25 lagoons in!
Enough overflow
Hey yall, I just got a new 200ga tank. It currently set up with dual corner bulkhead strainers. And a center intake. I’m assuming I should change the strainers out for overflows. Will x2 Fiji cube 800gph overflow boxes be enough?

@Danny McManus Are there any holes on the bottom of the tank at all? This looks consistent with a standard inline setup. In those configurations typically the holes on the back are for the returns and then there will be bottom holes as drains into a nuclear canister filter. Theoretically you could just leave the holes as suction screens for the drains and run the water back into the tank over the back glass via Plumbing parts for your return. The only issue is 3/4” drains really aren’t going to be able to handle the drainage that a 200 gallon needs. In theory it can work but your turn over rate won’t be ideal if that makes sense. @Quinn Rodrigo if you have a minute to give any input also that’d be great just for a second opinion.

@Danny McManus Yeah so I just re read the original post. The 3/4” were probably designed as return lines for the original setup. A center overflow is usually enough for the drain depending on the hole sizes on the center intake.
