๐Ÿ† WEEKLY COMP #3: THE SPECIALIST ๐Ÿ†
๐Ÿ’ฐ $325 CASH PRIZE ๐Ÿ’ฐ That's a full year of Premium. Win this and your membership pays for itself. ๐Ÿ“‹ THE CHALLENGE You just got hired again. Different client this time. Meet Sarah, a freelance copywriter who's drowning in context-switching. ๐Ÿ“Ž Download the full client brief attached to this post. Short version: She works with three types of clients (SaaS founders, ecommerce brands, local service businesses) and starts from scratch every project. She doesn't need another tool. She needs a system. Your job is to build her a folder-based AI specialist she can drop into any Claude project. The folder IS the deliverable. ๐Ÿ—‚๏ธ THIS WEEK YOU LEARN ICM Up until now, comps have been "build a thing." This week you utilize the methodology taught throughout the community. ๐Ÿง  Folders as architecture. That's it. That's the whole concept this week. Your specialist is a folder with five things: - ๐Ÿ“„ identity.md (who they are) - ๐Ÿ“ rules.md (how they respond) - ๐Ÿ’ฌ examples.md (what good looks like) - ๐Ÿ“š reference/ (source material) - ๐Ÿ“– README.md (how to use it) Drop the folder into a Claude project. Claude becomes the specialist. Reusable. Shareable. Portable. ๐ŸŽฏ PICK YOUR SPECIALIST Don't pick copywriting. That's Sarah's example. Pick something YOU would actually use. A few sparks to get you thinking: - A salary negotiation coach - A meal planner that knows your dietary restrictions - A code reviewer for your stack - A real estate market analyst for your city - A technical recruiter screener - A grant writer for nonprofits in your space The more specific, the better. "Marketing expert" is not a specialist. "B2B email expert for enterprise SaaS targeting CFOs" is. ๐Ÿ’ผ WHY THIS ONE LANDS ON YOUR RESUME Real talk. Winning a comp in a Skool community doesn't get you a job by itself. But shipping a working folder-based AI specialist with a clean README and a public repo? That's a portfolio piece.

@Rami Mohd this will be the best way to learn and to apply the lessons so it builds foundations in your workflow, that is a price by itself!
๐Ÿ† WEEKLY COMP #2 WINNER: VIRGILIO ROBINSON ๐Ÿ†
๐ŸŽŸ๏ธ @Virgilio Robinson just won a free seat in The Lyceum. ๐ŸŽŸ๏ธ Pick your cohort, my guy. Technical, Business, or Creator. It's yours. Why @Virgilio Robinson won: Most entries built a calculator with Marcus's voice on top. Virgilio built a system. Check it out: https://areweok.netlify.app ๐Ÿง  Built around the person, not the spreadsheet. Most calculators ask for income and savings. Virgilio's intake starts with who relies on you, how decisions get made at home, and how the worry actually feels. That's the difference between a tool and a planner. ๐ŸŽฏ It actually solves Marcus's problem. A prospect fills it out before the call. They get a real read on where they stand. Marcus walks into the meeting already knowing the numbers AND the emotional context. Hour saved, conversation deeper. โœ๏ธ The voice is Marcus. "Matthew, I can tell you're the kind of person who carries the weight of everyone else's financial security on your shoulders." That's not a calculator output. That's a planner who paid attention. ๐ŸŽš๏ธ The "what moves the needle" sliders. Three levers: save more, earn more, work longer. Live recalc against the target. This is exactly what Marcus asked for when he said "give them a path, not a verdict." ๐Ÿ“… It closes the loop. Email plus three preferred dates, sent straight to Marcus. The only entry that took the prospect all the way to a booked conversation. Real talk for everyone else. This was a tight one. There were several entries that could have won. The bar this week was higher than Week 1 and the work showed it. If you didn't win, that doesn't mean your entry was off. It means Virgilio went further. A lot of you built tools that nailed the voice. A lot of you built tools that nailed the math. Virgilio built one that did both AND thought about how Marcus actually runs his business. That's the lesson. The brief is never just the brief. The brief is a person trying to solve a real problem.

This is awesome! Thanks to all for your comments! This is a great community, and @Matthew Creamer , thank you for taking the time to review the full idea! I think I would like to be in the technical, although I don't have a technical background. I feel that is what I am missing for my Customs and Trade System, what do you think about this approach?
๐Ÿ† Weekly Comp #2: The Artifact Sprint ๐Ÿ†
๐Ÿ’ฐ Week 1 winner @Ian Barriopedro took home $200 cash. ๐ŸŽŸ๏ธ This week the prize gets bigger. โœจ Winner gets a FREE seat in The Lyceum. โœจ https://www.skool.com/quantum-quill-lyceum-1116/12-weeks-real-projects-250k-in-prizes-lets-talk?p=e850567b ๐ŸŽฏ Pick your cohort: Technical, Business, or Creator. Your call. ๐Ÿ“‹ THE CHALLENGE: "The Returning Client" You just got hired again. Different client this time. Meet Marcus. ๐Ÿ‘‹ ๐Ÿ“Ž Download the full client brief attached to this post. ๐Ÿ› ๏ธ YOUR DELIVERABLE An interactive artifact built in Claude that does what Marcus asked for. โœ๏ธ Plus a 100 word writeup covering: - ๐Ÿ‘ค Who it's for - โš™๏ธ What it does - ๐ŸŽจ One design choice you made and why ๐Ÿ“ THE RULES โœ… It has to work โœ… It has to sound like Marcus, not a bank โœ… The writeup matters โš–๏ธ Judging: Myself, Jake, and the mods. ๐ŸŽŸ๏ธ Who can enter: Premium and VIP members only. Free members, this is your sign. Upgrade and you're in the running for a Lyceum seat. ๐Ÿš€ ๐Ÿ“จ How to submit: Drop a screen recording or screenshot of your artifact, the link if you've got one, and your writeup in the comments below. ๐Ÿ“… Deadline: Saturday, May 2nd at 12:00 PM EST ๐ŸŽ‰ Winner announced: Monday, May 4th at 12:00 PM EST ๐Ÿ’ก A note before you start. This isn't a finance challenge. It's a design and voice challenge. You don't need to be a CFP to win this. Read the brief. Marcus tells you exactly what he wants and how he thinks. Your job is to build something that solves his problem and sounds like him. ๐Ÿ†• If you've never built an artifact in Claude before, this is a great first one. The brief is clear, the scope is reasonable, and the bar is "would Marcus actually send this to a prospect?" ๐Ÿ”ฅ @Ian Barriopedro set the standard last week. Your turn. LFG ๐Ÿš€

Hey, this task was really cool and fun to work on. When building the form, it became clear the opportunity was larger than the artifact itself. What began as a simple intake evolved into a broader planning system, so Iโ€™m sharing both the artifact submission and the full system it led to. - Official Writeup Marcusโ€™s real problem isnโ€™t arithmetic; itโ€™s that many clients arrive already carrying fear, guilt, and quiet exhaustion about money. Most already know they โ€œshould save more.โ€ What they need first is clarity without shame. Are We Okay? is for real families under real pressure in todayโ€™s economy, trying to balance tomorrowโ€™s security with todayโ€™s life. The experience feels like Typeform flow + personal letter + reflective journal + premium guided conversation, not a calculator. The core design choice was treating psychology as data. Beyond numbers, capture emotional context: stress, present-versus-future tension, and prior efforts to improve, then shape Marcusโ€™s response around comfort โ†’ truth โ†’ possibility. The result: clients feel understood, Marcus arrives with genuine insight, and the first meeting starts with planning, not arithmetic. Bonus System What began as a pre-meeting questionnaire evolved into a broader planning system that gives Marcus operational, financial, and emotional context before the first conversation ever happens. Every submission becomes deep client insight โ€” where pressure lives, what the family is carrying, and the retirement they are actually trying to build โ€” allowing Marcus to enter the meeting already understanding the person behind the numbers. The system then generates a tactical pre-call brief and a visual planning deck, turning a three-minute intake into a complete meeting preparation workflow. Explore the full system: create a new submission and see it populate Marcusโ€™s dashboard, or open the dashboard and review previous client profiles, briefs, and decks. We're thinking about doing something big. Want your input!
Alright, I need to run something by you all. Jake and I have been talking about building something bigger. Not just more content. Something structured. Something with real accountability. Something for anyone who wants to actually build with AI, whether you joined this community yesterday or you've been here from the start. Here's what we're considering: The Lyceum โ€” the original Lyceum was started in ancient Greece and known as the first school of Aristotle. Ours is a 12-week program with live instruction from Jake and other AI instructors from Eduba. Small cohorts. Real projects. You'd be building something from week one, not just watching tutorials. We're thinking three different tracks: - Technical โ€” for developers, engineers, people building tools and systems - Business โ€” for ops people, managers, founders, consultants who need to direct AI work without necessarily writing code - Creator โ€” for content creators, marketers, educators, solo operators building their own production systems Same core methodology across all three. Different emphasis based on what you're actually trying to do. And here's where it gets interesting. We're thinking about making it a competition. A grand champion who gets a $100K build from Eduba. First, second, third place for each cohort. Demo day at the end where people present what they built. We'd also be issuing Eduba's first-ever certification. Something backed by the same methodology we've used to train Fortune 500 teams. This is still in the planning phase. We haven't finalized everything yet. But before we lock it in, I want to hear from you. Does this sound like something you'd actually want? Drop a comment. Tell me what excites you. Tell me what concerns you. Ask questions. If there's something you'd want to see included, let me know. More details coming soon! Eduba Case Studies: https://services.eduba.io/#cases
