Why Some Content Instantly Connects (And Other Posts Get Ignored)
Let me share something that completely changed how I think about marketing. Most beginners believe the hardest part of creating content is technology. Learning platforms. Learning tools. Learning AI. But in reality, the hardest part is much simpler. Knowing what to say. You sit down to write a post and suddenly you’re thinking: • Will anyone care about this? • Is this interesting enough? • Am I explaining this properly? So people start guessing. And guessing is exhausting. But here’s the insight that makes everything easier. Humans Buy For Very Predictable Reasons Even though the world is modern, our brains are still wired around a few very simple motivations. People buy things because they want to feel: • Safe – less stress, more security • Capable – confident and competent • Connected – part of something• Supportive – able to help family • Appreciated – fair exchange and value Once you understand those motivations, marketing suddenly becomes much simpler. Instead of asking: "What should I post today?" You start asking: "What is my audience feeling today?" Now your content connects. Example Instead of writing something like: “Learn digital marketing.” You might say: “Most people over 50 aren’t trying to get rich online. They just want a small income that makes retirement less stressful.” See the difference? That message connects instantly because it speaks to something real. Why I Built My App Once I understood this idea, creating content became much easier for me. But I realised something interesting. Even when people understand the concept, they still struggle with turning it into actual posts and ideas. So I built a simple app that helps do exactly that. Inside the app you can enter: • Your audience • Your offer • The platform you’re posting on Then choose the human motivation you want to speak to. And the app generates content ideas and hooks based on that. So instead of staring at a blank screen… You suddenly have a clear starting point. The Goal This tool isn’t about writing perfect marketing.

Why did my TikTok video get a violations warning (it may be one of these)
@Donna Ferguson There is no official banned word list. But TikTok’s AI now flags certain themes and patterns very aggressively. It is less about one word and more about the topic, tone, and intent. Here is what you need to know. 1. Topics TikTok Is Much Stricter On 🚫 Misinformation & “Breaking” Claims Words around: - emergencies - elections - vaccines - government cover-ups - “breaking news” claims If you present something as fact without proof, especially with AI-generated content, it can get flagged. 🚫 Bullying & Insults Direct insults or targeting someone’s: - weight - race - gender - disability - appearance Even common insults like “idiot” can reduce reach. 🚫 Sexual or Explicit Language Explicit body part words or porn-adjacent phrases can: - reduce reach - trigger removals - block FYP eligibility Even if educational. 🚫 Suicide or Self-Harm Terms Words like: - suicide - kill yourself - detailed self-harm references Even supportive content can get restricted. 🚫 Violence & Threats Anything about: - killing - shooting - bombing - violent threats Heavily policed. 🚫 Drugs, Weapons & Illegal Activity Words connected to: - drugs - gun sales - piracy - illegal streaming Repeated commercial use is especially risky. 2. Why Words Alone Can Hurt Reach TikTok now uses heavy automation. - 85%+ of violations are caught by AI. - 99% are removed before users even report them. - Content can stay up but quietly be removed from FYP. That is what people call “shadow limiting.” You may never get a strike. But your video simply stops being shown. Now Let’s Talk About Your Niche You asked about: - Online marketing - Digital marketing - Make money online These are NOT banned. But they sit very close to areas TikTok flags heavily: - Scams - Get rich quick schemes - Investment promotion - Pyramid schemes That is where creators get into trouble. 🚩 High-Risk Phrases in Make Money Content
