What a beautiful first IRL — and this is just the beginning. 🗽💛 (Watch the weekly call recording or read below 👇) I drove an hour from Rockland County to Central Park — hand drum, volleyball and water bottles in tow — and met the wonderful @Patty Rose at Sheep's Meadow. We played, we connected, we talked real talk. And yes — we got a little sunshower at the end. 🌧️😄 One connection at a time. That's how family is built. What's next: I'm planning to keep these monthly — and I'm hearing you on the heat. Next IRL will likely be indoors, and I'm even considering hosting at my place in Rockland County. 🏡 👇 Would you come to Rockland? Drop your thoughts below! SCHEDULE (Broad strokes — we'll play by ear 😊) - 12:00 PM: MEET & GREET 📍 Sheep Meadow ~ Central Park, Manhattan, New York Entrance via Central Park West at West 65th St or West 66th St. - 12:30 PM: MUSIC, DANCE & PLAY We'll gather in a circle, connect through music, play a little, laugh a lot... I'm bringing my African drum 🪘 Feel free to bring: 🪘 An instrument 🧺 A blanket or chair 💧 Water ~ Lunch/Snack 🎈 Your inner child - 1:30 PM: WALK IN THE PARK We'll explore this beautiful city park while enjoying walk-and-talk conversations. We may even do some timed partnering so everyone has an opportunity to connect and get to know the humans behind the communities. - 2:30 PM: VISIBILITY (Bonus) For those who wish to stay a bit longer, this will be an opportunity to share about your community, hear from others about theirs, and support one another.
