Community Chat & Introductions
This community is built for men over 40 who hold themselves to a higher standard. No excuses about age. No shortcuts. Just smart, consistent work and men who push each other forward. Drop a quick intro: who you are, what responsibilities you carry, and one goal you’re chasing right now. Engage, ask questions, and connect with men who take their health, fitness, and life seriously. Don't comment below - create your own post and tell us: — Who you are and what you do — Where you're at with training right now — One goal you're locked in on for the next 90 days The men in here show up for each other. Post your intro and you'll see exactly what that means. Welcome to Built Different. Now let's get to work. 💪🏻

Greetings, I'm 58 years old. I just joined Premium because I 100% agree with Keith and his overall philosophy. I desire longevity and healthspan, I want do be able to do everything I want to do in 20-30 years. We are working hard to reduce that rate of decline and if we do work our rears off now - it simply won't happen. In Keith's Ab video he talks (and displays) his "excess years" for us. I've had mine, alcohol, gluttony, laziness...I'm done with feeling like crap. I started about a year ago at 208 lbs and probably 35-40% BF. I'm a VERY short male at 5'1" so yeah 208 on that frame. So as of last weeks Dexa & Inbody I'm 142 lbs and 15.7% BF & 17.5 respectively. Wasn't sure I had it in me and now so f-ing proud....but not done...ever! You all and Keith are going to keep me motivated, inspired, accountable and I'm going to do the same for me. Thanks for the platform.

Group calls
@Keith Hanenian Esq Curious if you were planning additional group calls and if so would those details be on the page calendar?

Welcome, Terry. You've come to the right place. Go to the classrooms; since your new this will get you started and help you tremendously. It doesn't matter if you just started, you're here and building habits that will improve your life in a number of way. We are here to help, motivate and be your accountability partners.
Nobody tells you thins when you're younger
Here's something nobody tells you when you're younger: The gym doesn't get easier. You get smarter. At 20 you push through everything. At 40 you learn to feel the difference between productive discomfort and the kind that sidelines you for 3 weeks. That's not weakness. That's wisdom earned the hard way. The men in this community who are making real gains right now aren't the strongest guys in the room. They're the most consistent. They show up. They ego check at the door. They work the muscle, not the mirror. That's what built different actually means. Drop a 💪 if you're in that camp. Let's see who's here.

Giants are made from legs 2.0
Changed up leg day a bit. Giant set bulgarians, modified rdl, hamstring curl on machine and finish calf raise on mac. 4 sets 15. No rest between exercises then 90 to 120 sec rest between sets. Mod I made to calf raise is keeping feet super close together. Seems to focus more on outside of calf. Think this is the one for me for a few months.
