How to deeply understand your target market with these AI prompts
Hi friends, one of the biggest opportunities that I am seeing constantly from our amazing community of builders here is that you not only need to get your message in front of the right people... but you need it to clearly point to how their attention is best spent with you because of how deeply you understand them. In a meta way, you all joined here likely because I did a halfway decent job of explaining that I could give you some utility to help you achieve your own goals, right? Here's the short summary: 1. You need to make sure that your audience feels like they deeply understand you. 2. You can do that by going through the process with AI to deeply dive into and profile those people. 3. As a thinking partner, AI will give you, at minimum, a much deeper understanding of who you are trying to serve and what they need from you. Our exercise in the comments: Who exactly is your target market and what are you trying to give them? Here are the prompts for you to check out! (CC @Brian Mangum!)

I ran through these yesterday and it is literally a game changer. I have built out a proper USP and have 12 weeks of long form content ideas in the hopper ready to create based off the questions that my ideal member is asking. Great value @Matt Burns !
Huge shoutout to Matt for being an absolute legend in this community! 🙌
Just hit Level 2 and @Matt Burns was literally my first chat buddy here. Not only did he welcome me with open arms, but he went above and beyond by creating a personalized Loom video breaking down how to improve my About page using a solid framework. This is exactly what makes the community special - people who genuinely care about helping others succeed. Matt's "fish where the fish are" strategy has already shifted my thinking, and his willingness to share AI prompts for ideal customer profiling shows he's all about giving real, actionable value. I just updated my About page based on his feedback, and I'd love for Matt (and anyone else) to take a look and let me know what else could be improved. Always looking to level up! This is what community building looks like - people like Matt showing up with generosity and expertise. Thanks for setting the bar high, brother!
What's your weekend look like? (fun engagement idea)
One of my favorite posts to drum up engagement is an offtopic post. Something where people feel comfortable sharing pictures or discussing what their weekend plans are. The 'weekend plans' is simply just this: what are your plans for the weekend? (shocking right?) You can tag or label it so people know it's more for fun. I also find once you get a couple people to share, it's much easier for other people to comment and respond back with positive or encouraging replies. For your next post, try something off topic - and then DM a few of your most trusted members or highest engagers and ask them to share their own feedback! As for us, my lovely wife and I are scoping out some farmers markets out here in Austin! Might even bring the pups. 🐕‍🦺 We're actually looking at getting a booth at some to both to represent Skool and also this community as an experiment to see if we can connect with more local community builders! So friends - you got any plans for the weekend? 😁

Who are you?
Hey everyone! 👋 This is our official "get to know each other" post for the whole group. Jump into the comments and tell us about yourself! (no pressure of course) Here's a few ideas to get started: - What got you into community building and is that what you do for a living? - What do you love to do in your free time? - What are you super proud of and why? - Feel free to link to your website or community Quick note: We want to get to know YOU as a person, so please focus your answer on, well, you! After you introduce yourself, scroll through and check out what others have shared. Leave some replies and connect with people - that's what this is all about! Can't wait to meet you all properly! 🙂 Cheers, Matt

Hey there! I'm Brian, and I'm excited to connect with everyone here! I stumbled into community building when I started a book club for men. As someone who's always been an encourager at heart, I realized books could be the perfect vehicle to bring guys together for real conversations. What hooked me was seeing how powerful it is when people find their tribe and start opening up about what really matters. I sold my tech company last year and found sobriety this year, which has been transformative. These experiences showed me that we really can build the life we want, and I'm passionate about encouraging others to believe that too. Community building is my side hustle right now, but I'd love for this to become my full-time gig. When I'm not thinking about communities, you'll probably find me building AI workflows, consulting with business owners on how to streamline their operations, or out rucking with a weighted pack (there's something about that grind that keeps me centered). Something I'm really proud of right now is serving ninth grade boys at our local church as part of our high school ministry. We have a group of 25 young men, and I get to be part of watching their lives change. Seeing them discover who they're meant to become and supporting them through that journey is incredibly meaningful work. Looking forward to learning about all of you and finding those unexpected connections that make communities so special! Crown & Compass Community
