9 contributions to Flourish: Faith & Wellness
🌿 Welcome to Flourish!
Welcome to Flourish. 🤍 I'm so glad you're here. Flourish is a Christ-centered community where we slow down, seek God together, and care for both our spiritual and mental well-being. You don't have to have everything figured out to belong here. Whether you're thriving, healing, or simply trying to make it through today, there's a place for you. Our hope is simple: 🌿 Pause. 🤍 Breathe. ✝️ Reconnect. Introduce yourself below! We'd love to know your first name and one thing you're grateful for today.

@Nora Gianna Thank you so much, Nora! 💚 That really means a lot to me. My hope is that every new member feels welcomed, encouraged, and equipped from the very beginning. That's why I created a Start Here section—to help people understand the heart of Flourish, know what to expect, and feel comfortable taking their first steps in the community. From there, my vision is that members settle into a simple rhythm of engaging with our weekly PAUSE reflections, Bible study discussions, prayer, and authentic community as we pursue faith and practical mental wellness together—one step at a time. My prayer is that Flourish becomes a place where people don't feel like they have to have everything figured out. They simply know they don't have to walk alone. 🌿

Happy New Month to you Brandy😊 @Brandy Chandler Thanks for accepting me into the group! Love the space you are building. I actually spend a lot of time helping community leaders in helping their Skool communities grow at an early stage and keep members active. Since you’re just getting started, would you be open to a few quick growth ideas I put together for you? No pitch or strings attached, just happy to share what's working well for other new communities right now. I’d be happy to share some of my past work and client testimonials to show what I can do if you're interested. Thanks for you time!

📖 Bible Study Reflection: Philippians 4:6–9
One thing I've been reflecting on lately is how often this passage is misunderstood. "Do not be anxious about anything..." (Philippians 4:6) Sometimes these words are heard as: "If you're anxious, you're failing spiritually." But I don't believe that's what Paul is saying. Anxiety is a normal human experience. Throughout Scripture, we see people wrestle with fear, grief, uncertainty, and overwhelming circumstances. Feeling anxious doesn't mean you've failed God, and it doesn't make you a "bad Christian." What stands out to me in Philippians 4 isn't condemnation—it's invitation. Paul doesn't shame us for feeling anxious. Instead, he gives us a different direction to take with our anxiety. Bring everything to God. Not just the polished prayers. Not just the victories. Everything. Then Paul encourages us to intentionally fill our minds with what is true, honorable, just, pure, lovely, and worthy of praise (vv. 8–9). That isn't about pretending life is easy or ignoring our struggles. It's about allowing God's truth to shape our thoughts, even when our emotions feel overwhelming. Faith doesn't always remove anxiety immediately. Sometimes faith looks like bringing the same anxious heart to God again today—and trusting that His peace will meet us there. 💚 Reflection Question: What is one worry you're willing to place in God's hands today, and what truth from Philippians 4 can you hold onto instead?

🌿 PAUSE Challenge
Welcome to this week's PAUSE Challenge! As a new season begins, take 5 intentional minutes today to pause before you push forward. This week's challenge: 📝 Grab a notebook or open your notes app and finish these three sentences: ✨ This season, I want to let go of... 🌱 This season, I'm praying God will grow... 🙏 This week, my next faithful step is... Remember, you don't have to have your whole semester, schedule, or future figured out today. God often leads us one faithful step at a time. 📖 "Commit your work to the Lord, and your plans will be established." — Proverbs 16:3 💚 Join the conversation! If you're comfortable sharing, tell us one word that describes what you're praying for this season. I'll start: Abundance 🤍 Who's next?
