Vegas is amazing, you know? I didn’t expect to get what I got out of Vegas. I went there to learn, but instead I got motivation. I met some really incredible people. Even more incredible people to add to my network in the AI space. There’s Kiri such a darling. Me, Jason, and Kiri singing karaoke in the car to Salt and Pepper, that whole vibe. Just real connection. And then Andy and Dakota. They were throwing the event, but their energy was just so amazing. So full of wisdom and knowledge that it made leaving my family worth it. And then I met Siloh at the event. A fellow skooler. He’s an AGI speaker. We connected because we both just built agents. His actually made money. Mine’s fresh off Dan Martell’s playbook. Just knowing there’s someone else out there building the same thing, understanding the vision that hit different. These are the people you meet when you’re on your path. The ones who get it. The ones who remind you why you’re doing this. To find my way back home to Belize.

I don’t go to Belize to escape. I go to remember. Every time I land, something in me resets. Not softly… violently. The noise drops. The pressure I’ve been carrying? It gets exposed for what it really is. Not life. Just weight I picked up along the way. Belize doesn’t care about your titles. It doesn’t care how busy you are. It doesn’t care how many people need you. And that’s exactly why it heals you. Because for a second… you’re not “the one holding everything together.” You’re just you. This last trip hit different. I realized how much I’ve been carrying without questioning it. How normal it started to feel to be needed for everything. How easy it is to confuse pressure with purpose. And Belize stripped that illusion quick. Out there, things move… but not in chaos. There’s rhythm. There’s space. There’s trust that everything doesn’t have to run through you to work. That part stayed with me. I came back different. Not slower. Not less ambitious. Just… clearer. I don’t want to build something that needs me every second. I don’t want success that feels heavy. I don’t want a life where I’m the system. Belize reminded me: Freedom isn’t later. It’s built into what you create. And this journey I’m on? It’s not about doing more anymore. It’s about building something that finally lets me breathe.

A week or two ago… my brother was on the river running the Belikin La Ruta Maya. Not for likes. Not for attention. Just straight discipline. Early mornings. Long miles. No audience… just current and commitment. That’s the part people don’t see. Everyone celebrates the finish line… but the real story is who you had to become just to get there. Different respect for anyone who signs up for that kind of pressure and doesn’t fold. A week later and it still sits with me… Some people talk about hard things. Some people quietly go do them. I know which one he is. 🇧🇿
