Today is our 26th wedding anniversary. I’m taking the afternoon off to spend it with my favorite person. ❤️ Our plan? Watching Toy Story 5. It’s still one of my all time favorites, and yes… we’re the kind of people who happily stayed at the Toy Story Hotel in Hong Kong just because it made us smile. In fact we’ve been to every Disney Magic Kingdom in the world! So fun! Looking back at this photo from July 15, 2000, it’s amazing to think about everything we’ve experienced together. Raising two incredible kids, moving around the world, building businesses, changing careers, celebrating wins, navigating hard seasons, and somehow still finding joy in the simple things. Twenty six years later, I’d choose this adventure all over again. Here’s to growing older together, staying playful, and never outgrowing the things that make life fun. 💙🎉

One thing I like to do is keep my personal and business finances intentionally separate. My $10,000 Kiva 0% interest business loan will be deposited into a business high yield savings account (HYSA) until I need it. That way it can earn a little interest while I spend it thoughtfully over time. I also like having it separate because it makes it much easier to: - Track exactly how the loan money is being used. - Monitor my business spending. - Stay organized with repayments over the next three years. - Keep clean records for my business. It’s a simple system, but simple systems are often the easiest to stick with.
