Hey everyone! I'm Tamberly, founder of Digital Wellness Journal, where I help overwhelmed professional women use AI and journaling to lighten their mental load and actually feel like they have some space to think again. By day, I work full-time in social work at a nursing facility, so I get a front-row seat to what burnout and being "always on" does to people, which is honestly a big part of why DWJ exists. What I geek out on: journaling. I've been doing it for years, not the cute aesthetic kind, the actual "get it out of my head before it eats me alive" kind. I'm also a total introvert who'd rather build things behind the scenes than be the face of them, so showing up here and being visible is genuinely a stretch for me (a good one). What's lighting me up about being in this group: being around other midlife women who are building real things on Skool, not chasing hype, just trying to grow with some intention behind it.

P.O.V. You Think There’s No Room For Your Dreams
šŸ“ Meanwhile, in 1885, Sarah E. Goode was determined to find a solution for families in tiny Chicago apartments, who had almost no room. She designed a bed that folded up into a cabinet. šŸ’”Ā Invention:Ā Cabinet bed (a bed that turned into a cabinet/desk, creating both a comfortable sleep space at night and a dedicated work space during day. 🧱 Resistance: Getting a patent and respect for her design meant pushing through racism, sexism, and being flatly ignored. 🧾 System & Records: Sarah could not just say, ā€œI have a cool idea.ā€ She had to: • Draw clear pictures of how the bed folded up and down. • Measure and write down how the wood pieces fit together in a clear concise manner. • Show that it was safe and strong enough for real families. Those careful drawings and notes were her step‑by‑step system of proof that her idea did work, which helped her win her patent even when the world refused to see her. 🧨 Every corner of your life feels crowded. You work, care for family, and your business gets squeezed into leftover scraps of time and energy. šŸĀ Simple System: • Step 1: Pick one 30‑minute window you already have (lunch break, car line, after dinner). • Step 2: Name it ā€œCabinet Timeā€ and protect it on your calendar 3 days a week. • Step 3: DecideĀ oneĀ task you always do in that window (plan tomorrow’s posts, outline one email, check in with leads). ā€¼ļø Your dreams deserve a reserved & secure space to flourish. Drop ā€œCABINET TIMEā€ in the comments and share: • Which 30-minute window you’re claiming • What ONE task lives there No explaining. Just claiming.

Hi everyone! šŸ‘‹ I’m Tamberly, based in Roxboro, NC. I’m the founder of Digital Wellness Journal. I am currently building DWJ Life by Design, a digital product program focused on bringing structure and systems to the 8 key areas of life—helping women pinpoint exactly where they are off-balance so they can adjust with clarity, not just guessing. I’m also working on getting my AI Coaching certification. My goal is to help women use tech as a tool to become more in control of their lives, turning "manifesting" into practical designing on their terms. Market Alignment. Since I am in the building phase, I’m craving clarity on how to blend the "tech" side of things (AI and systems) with the "soul" side of wellness. I want to ensure that my tools feel supportive and human, not just robotic, as I introduce these new concepts to the market. My "Evening Shutdown Protocol." Because I’m in such a heavy "build mode" right now, my grounding tool is a hard stop at the end of the day. I have a specific system for closing my digital and mental tabs to remember that I am the designer of my life, not just the worker bee.
