Nice work!
Greetings from Canada!
Hello everyone! I am an artist from Canada and look forward to learning and growing with you. I have painted more abstract landscapes in the past in acrylics but have moved over to oils, and now enjoy painting imaginative landscapes in, I guess, what would be called an impressionist style.
Greetings from Canada!

@Chris Arlidge I would label them tonalism as well as impressionistic!

The painting you are showing looks very accomplished. I like Malik's advice and it is very different to your current system. Not having seen a finished work, I'm not sure whether your values are accurate for all distances. But they look like they are progressing in the right direction. Your drawing is pretty accurate so you might start with that and then move to adding the darkest darks in the foreground. And then proceed towards the darks for farther distances and once that is complete continue. Working with lightening and darkening colour mixes should provide harmonious colour mixes throughout the painting. That would be a first step. Or even better. Put your method aside for now and Follow Sam's approach from the very start for a looser more painterly result. Thumbnail, value sketch, value study and then final work. You have a lot of talent and a nice touch.
