December tends to be a lot of different things to folks and it's always so interesting to me when I see all the ways people in business close out their year. I've seen some start to wind down and take it easy after the bustle of Black Friday things. Others are saving a bit of time and energy for one last flash sale before they finish up and vacation. Some are planning a big sale for this month with a version of 12 Days of Christmas and others throughout the month with an Advent Calendar-type setup every day of the month. And then those that are refusing to go quietly with a bit sale after Christmas, even calling that week Q5! I was definitely in the take-it-easy camp for a number of years but I've started to look forward to the 12-Days setup and now, seeing these December Advent Calendars in different places, I'm slowly moving through the various options. But I always want to leave 2 weeks for my review of the current year and planning for the next year... as a girl who says Spreadsheets are my Love Language... this is for sure my happy place. So I'm curious what you're up to this month in your business. Tell us what you're planning... winding down, revving up, or a mix in between? And when do you start 2026 planning?
