Hey everyone, I’m Duy. I’m an entrepreneur in the hospitality world with a few restaurants. I’m new to real estate investing and launched my first mid-term rental earlier this year and looking to add more. I’m trying to learn the tax side the right way from the start so I don’t overpay as I add more properties. Joined to understand strategies to help small business owners who also invest in Real Estate. One thing I’m trying to figure out right now is whether a cost segregation study/bonus depreciation makes sense at this stage. My property is in the 350-400k range, and I’m not sure if the savings outweigh the cost for my situation (None RE professional status, small business owner who will report 75-100k in earnings).
