I got pinched yesterday traveling back from Louisiana 🥴 I figured this citation could be a case study example.. lol Office was on other side of the road and was ahead of me when he made a u-turn then hit his lights. He was so far behind me and not driving very fast, I didn't even realize he was coming after me for awhile. He never made mention of this nor did he add any other charges. He verbally told me he had me at 10mph over (but write me for 13 over), asked what kind of car this was, asked for my license but not for registration or insurance. I'm still mad at myself- I accidentally handed him my driver's license instead of my passport card! Smh... 🤦🏻‍♀️ My carbon copy is so light can barely make info out and it looks like I didn't leave my mark on the signature line. I told him I couldn't read the writing and he penned over on the cited speeds and the court date & time. I'd autographed his copy with: " All Rights Reserved ... By: Angella: Everett " (see photo for example since it's not visible on my carbon copy) I haven't had a ticket in like 15 years... what's the best play here/how to rescind within 72 hours and send back, etc.? I would love ideas and feedback, fam!
