Writing Exercises as a Challenge? 🤗
I was wondering what you all think of a writing challenge that’s where each day you get to work on different writing exercises that will help you understand different ways to use writing in a story. For instance, explain that the room is hot without saying it. This means you would have to paint a picture for your reader. Other exercises would help in different ways similar to that. @JeanAlbert Arnold very true! I didn’t need gaslighting to be there for my kids. I knew they were hurting just like I was. I never lost my why. I just lost the desire to lose my life over other people’s choices & NO job is worth that. In the military, you sign up knowing you are actively risking your life. That wasn’t supposed to be teaching.

@Shirley-Louise Daniels that part. With class sizes growing, it absolutely became babysitting and crowd control. It’s also sad to see the videos where you see a teacher lose it. Because what you didn’t get to see was the consistent cruelty & bullying those teachers endured for weeks or months leading up to that moment. Teaching doesn’t look like it did when we were in school. And teaching doesn’t look like it was when this new generation’s parents were in school.
