I’m proud to share that I’ve provisionally passed the CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional) exam—and did so at the 100-question cutoff with more than 90 minutes to spare. This accomplishment was the result of months of dedicated studying, including: - Reading the Sybex Official CISSP Guide - Listening to CISSP-focused podcasts and video content - Completing countless practice exams and domain-by-domain reviews - Engaging in peer discussions and online study forums The CISSP is a rigorous exam that tests not only knowledge, but also your ability to think critically across eight diverse domains of cybersecurity. Finishing at 100 questions was both a challenging and rewarding experience. Next up: completing the endorsement process. I took and passed the CISSP exam yesterday, Friday May 16th, with 17 minutes to spare! I didn't take this exam alone. I walked into the exam hall with a virtual tribe of individuals lifting me on their shoulders. Their confidence in me, dispelled all of my fears and anxiety. Sitting in front of the examination computer, the questions seemed clear to me, even if my fundamentals may have been a bit fuzzy. I would not have passed the exam without the support of this Skool platform, our CISSP Community Study Group (CSG) and the personal connections that I have made via the study groups. I somehow passed the CISSP about an hour ago. I studied for roughly eight months using various resources. It felt like I got every question wrong. I read the Destination Certification line by line first time, Second time I focused on all the lines I bookmarked while reading the first time, and also concentrated on the Highlight points in the book. Watched Dest cert mind map videos countless times, watched the Pete Zerg videos Full course, Cram and exam prep, Mike Chappelle videos, Cv Simpson videos, Cyber platter videos on YT, Tom Olzak, Think like a Manager, 2 CISSP live Boot camps. LearnzApp ( Good for testing knowledge ) Priya DW - (Udemy CISSP practice exam for exam difficulty) Pocket Prep ( Just for test of Knowledge ) OSG Wiley practice ( for Lengthy exam hours + Knowledge ) Dest Cert App ( Glossary prep exams ) Official OSG Book ( Read that but too cumbersome ) Strong emphasis on learning how to comprehend Context of questions in the exam Studied from Mid December to April, I was so close the first time in January.
