Curious… are SEO, lead gen, and sales your biggest roadblocks too?
I’ve been active in a few SaaS communities and keep seeing the same challenges: getting leads, improving SEO, and closing sales. One thing I’ve found helpful is breaking each area into small, actionable pieces. For example: optimizing a single landing page for SEO drove more organic leads, which then made outreach much easier, and ultimately improved conversion in sales. I’m not here to sell anything, but sharing even one approach has sparked new ideas for others. Curious—how have you been tackling these three areas in your setup?
Getting first paid users
Hi @Javid Jamae and @Andy Chiang, thanks for the invite into the community! 👋🏼 I’ve got about 120 people on my early access list, but haven’t converted any into paid users yet. What would you do first to see if people will actually pay? I’m building a lightweight CRM for solo consultants. My current ideas: - Test pricing tiers in a waitlist email - Offer a concierge onboarding and ask for a deposit - Try to get 5 people on a call and show a prototype My goal this month: land 3 paying users, even if it’s early-access or discounted. I’d love to hear what worked for you in the past when you had a small list and maybe no product yet.

What I would do is to ask them to co-create the product with you. Since they are your target clients, they know how they want it to be packaged/delivered/created, what exact things they want etc. So you can call them "The founding {x}"(x = number of people that you want to help you and be your clients. For example: "The founding 5") For these people your approach should be different. If you have a website you can add them on it like an appreciation for helping you in the early days. That's what I did but, instead of listing their names on my website, they have life-time discount on the subscription. Hope this helps.
