Be Aware Gentlemen
Good morning gentlemen, As many of us on this journey have been working hard, we have changed in our styles, our acquired taste of things have changed , some have been blessed with increase in wealth and promotions.we have gained notoriety, friends, and relationships. One of the famous quotes “ With great power, comes great responsibility.” This means gentlemen, you have to be aware that many now look at you differently, people that knew of you and have seen you progress and obtain all kind of things. And there are some that you do not even know that have seen you and now they noticed this change in you and therefore you are now a target in their radar. Whether it’s in person or even financial or identity theft. Gentlemen be aware of your surroundings, when you go places walking to your car stay off your phones and see what and who is around you. Know the areas that you are in and around you. I personally never take the same route home. and the closer I get to my home I look to see who is behind me had how long they have been behind me. I might even drive past my home just to make sure. When I am walking I notice who is around me and if certain people seem to frequent the same places that I am going and how long they have been behind me. If I noticed something suspicious I will not stop to buy what I was planning at that moment especially if it’s of value. If you purchase large and expensive items do not place the empty boxes outside on the curb in front of your house. Take them to a dumpster away form your home, so people who might be casing the neighborhood don’t see that you purchased expensive items in your home. This is definitely important around Christmas. Now having said this, a lot of people do not know this but there are places that you can have your packages delivered and you can go and pick them up to avoid porch pirates taking your packages. Also when you are purchasing something and you are using your debit card or credit card, before you slide the card into the matching whether its at the gas pump, or especially in convenience stores looks at the card reader to make sure that it has not been tampered with. Also when you are putting in your code make sure others around you cannot see you enter it. Because of they can get a hold of your card by slight of hand or force they will have your PIN number to access it.

Situational awareness is of great worth in all places at all times. Excellent advice.
Best shoe care products?
Gentleman hello, I hope you are having a great week. I am looking to upgrade my shoe care products. Which brands would you recommend the most for leather shoes? I have three pairs of brogues and 1 pair of penny loafers. I’d be looking to buy: Polish, conditioner and a general cleaner. I often have to fight salt marks in the colder months. Thanks Curtis

Saphir is the gold standard, but is a bit pricey if you have budget concerns. I use Angelus and have been very happy with it.
Emergency winter thrifting win!
TLDR: A sudden cold snap while traveling meant a quick thrifting trip and a winter wardrobe WIN! Monday, I took the train from my home near Washington, DC up to my girlfriend’s home in Long Island, NY. It was rainy but mild when I arrived, in the mid 60s (F). By Monday evening, a cold wave had met the rain and it was below freezing. Tuesday morning, we had a wind chill of 29° and snow flurries! This is probably 2-3 weeks early for this region. And none of it had been predicted. I was caught without sufficiently warm shirts. So my SAG (Swiss Army Girlfriend), who is a brilliant thrifter, took me to her local favorite thrift shop, where we found some warm, dark blue twill trousers, and three excellent shirts, all for a net price of US$3.50 each! The Duluth Trading teal plaid is a nice pop of color and was brand new with the plastic still in the collar, as was the LL Bean heavy cotton grey weave. The CQR is a heavy flannel fleece and could be an overshirt or a shirt jacket by itself. UPDATE: Forgot to mention that I also scored a 100% cashmere black scarf for US$2.10!

The Rocky music was queued up...
Today is day 1 of my weight loss journey. I weighed 191 this morning and I'm fat as can be (for me). Today I start entering everything that I put into my mouth onto the "My fitness pal" app and I'll mount my gravel bike onto my trainer and start my Rouvy subscription back up later this week. I'm also in touch with one if my cycling buddies who rides all year do the fatbike is going to be getting some winter work in, too. The goal is 2 pounds per week, with a first stop at 175 and see how I feel/look in my clothes. While I'm feeling all fat and lazy my girlfriend texts me that she ran 9 miles at lunchtime and only stopped because her lunch break was over. 🙄 Warner

I have been tying EMJ deodorant for about 3 months now. Not sure it works quite as well as what I was using prior, but it is close and is about half the cost.
