My goal is to eat veggies 2x/day! I was weighed at the doctor's office today and I have lost 13 lbs! Was 373.4 now 360.6!

Another weekend! What's the gameplan to enjoy your weekend without overeating the calories? I'm going to be sticking to my meal plan this weekend personally with the exception of maybe swapping my oats for some snacks.

What's everyone's plan to enjoy themself in a way where they hit their goals? Side note: Think about incorporating some healthy and fun physical activity this weekend for mental and physical well being. Side effect is burning more calories!

I have had a really rough weekend. My sink backed up and overflowed 7 times on friday which meant the emergency plumber was called. 2 friends rushed to my assistance when they heard what was happening and managed to get the sink to drain enough that it wasn't overflowing anymore and they got all the water and grease from the overflow cleaned up. Because of this I ended up eating two whopper jrs and a snack box from burger king for lunch and for supper after the plumber left I had a pb+j sandwich, a cut up apple, a cut up stalk of celery, and a banana for supper. Two good things happened on Friday though. 1, I was able to take my wheelchair across the street and do a small grocery shop on my own at safeway! I picked up two loaves of whole wheat bread, bandaids, a small tin of hot chocolate, pork chops, pork cutlets, and hot dogs. All the meat was 50% off using the foodhero app! The other good thing that happened on Friday happened in the evening. I had a really serious talk with my boyfriend about some stuff I found out about his past. We have been talking twice a day lately due to him helping care for a family member who had a stroke. So this conversation happened in the morning and it got me thinking about my relationship with him. Well, long story short serious conversation in the morning led to serious conversation at night and now we're planning on tying the knot! Saturday was a pretty quiet day. Did a load of towels from the flood, deep cleaned my counters so they weren't greasy from the flood, and started some of the dishes in the sink when it flooded. My back gave out after the first load of dishes so I spent the rest of the day painting. I ate 6 hot dogs (the all beef kind with not a lot of fat), 2 bananas, a cut up apple and some celery. And of course my standard mocha in the morning. I was right about the fried eggs and spam, btw. It has exited rotation quite spectacularly. I am now searching for the next fixation food. I am sensing toast or oatmeal and fruit. Maybe a poached egg or two as well.

It’s the Weekend! What’s everyone’s gameplan to eat what they want but stay within their calories? I fasted all day on Friday and had A&W Burger (650 calories) Regular fries (300 calories) And some snacks for the remainder of my calorie budget. Also had a core power vanilla protein shake to fill in protein but honestly should’ve eaten more protein. Once in a while being under protein not end of world though.

I've actually been doing pretty good calorie wise now that I am in my new place. Eating lots of fruit and veggies, getting less sugar and fast food, and overall just eating less! For instance today I had coffee (double double), a cereal bar, and an apple and peanut butter for breakfast, another coffee before lunch, 2 eggs in a nest and 1/3 block of spam for lunch, and for supper I am having toast and veggie soup for supper. For a snack later it will probably be a bowl of chips but I feel like my calories will balance out (I don't track because of an eating disorder)

@James Hegazy exactly. I limit the amount of unhealthy foods in the house to a bag of chips, a couple of boxes of cereal bars, and a couple cans of spam. When I go grocery shopping I get 2-3 gatorade just because the electrolytes are good for me (I have a heart condition that needs them). I know the fried eggs and spam isn't the healthiest but I am neurospicy and I will get hooked on certain foods and eat them until I can't stand to look at them. I am almost there with this meal I think. Before this it was oatmeal with brown sugar and peanut butter, and before that it was two protein bars

I ate more vegetables than normal. I discovered one of the nonprofits in the city offers a low cost grocery where they sell produce bags and discounted pantry staples. I got quite a bit when I went on Tuesday and have eaten some of it but still have quite a bit left. On Friday I made a tuna casserole which I ate friday for supper and saturday lunch and supper. Today I had fried eggs, spam, and pumpernickel toast for breakfast and then I made cabbage soup for supper that had cabbage, onion, spam, and tomato sauce. I still have 3/4 of the pot so I think I am going to freeze some for future meals.
