Hi everyone I believe I have found my new family. The article about people that have to stay home to recharge hit home. That is definitely me. I love this community so many different versions of successful people. I have been an Instructor of Criminal Justice for 18 years. I started after my husband died suddenly of a heart attack at 41 with no warning. I was left to care for 3 children: 1 college student 1 teenager and a 5 year old. I took the instructor job so I could continue homeschooling and my son also got remission of tuition. That is the foundation of my life. Now today January 28 2026 10:57 pm I'm stuck. I have outgrown that position. My children are grown but im still stuck. 7 years I married again but had no idea he was emotionally abusive ....it caused tremendous pain with my children but they managed to escape. This is not a sob story. This is a transition story. I ve been an incredible wife and mother. This is my time to soar. My beautiful daughter whose getting her Masters in English says I am an ambiavert. But I have to have that 5 Am club quiet time to recharge for the day. My goal for the next 15 months is to stop letting my college and other things pimp my talents and gifts. Im at the beginning of a new career not retirement. I am rebranding myself as a Digital Architect for minority serving institutions. I want to help students faculty and staff understand and embrace the AI revolution and see it as a tool to enhance not erase. I also want to educate young adults on the urgency of financial literacy at 18. Paul Zane Pilzer says there are enough resources for every single person to be rich. I hate poverty because its unnecessary in this opulent world of riches and wealth. But you can only operate in the knowledge of what you know and no more. That's why I love to teach. Teachers have a multiplication superpower. They can plant thoughts and ideas into people and it multiplies. Just look at all the great leaders whose biographies we read and it changes us. OK thats enough. I pray a multitude of blessings on each and every member of this community Evan Carmichael you rock!!!!
