Entities: What's Feeding On Your Attention (Pt.2)
This is part two if didn't catch the first episode on entities. This episode we dive into catching entities in the present moment. We introspect into what's actually yours, what's not, and how to tell the difference in the middle of an ordinary day. Mahmoud and Jarne both come at it through the eyes. Jarne on alchemizing every eye contact on the street, then retreating from it, and what not blinking taught him about his own internal state staying still. Mahmoud on an ongoing experiment after joining Sex and Love Addicts Anonymous, walking through the streets and not looking, and the electrical pull that rose up, the shame, the fear, the voice that sounds like you but moves on its own. The same compulsion he knew with cigarettes and substances, just subtler, further in, more powerful source. Underneath it, the fear that hooks every man. Not enough. Unlovable. Not safe. The parts of us frozen in childhood, the teachers representing authority who terrorized us, the schools system our inner child survived. That's the crack the entities get in through. And the isolated, ashamed man alone in his room is the easiest one to feed on. Jarne on the soul as a pure fractal of God, on spirits in plants and medicine and knowing which ones you're actually letting in. Mahmoud on the shift in his own medicine work, from chasing validation to sitting with the darkest layers by candlelight. Then it comes all the way down to the practical. Perineum breathing. A somatic alarm clock built on the old story of the five prayers. One breath before bed. Joining a consistent men's circle, so you're not dumping your unintegrated shadows on your woman or swallowing it alone. Vertical Man is a live men's podcast and men's group, held by Jarne and Mahmoud. Every Sunday, 10 PM Cairo. Stay open. Stay rooted. https://open.spotify.com/episode/3bdLQgN0l201WZ4I9C6OJI

The Return. A Music Guided Breathwork Journey
I have been crafting this one for sometime. First time I was introduced to breathwork, I had the vision to create one myself, from music production to editing the visual video. Today I cross that threshold. My first 13-minute music guided circular breathwork journey. Lie down. Breathe. Let the body do the work it needs and get ready for some releases when the strings and piano make their introduction. Enjoy and let me know what you felt. Appreciate the support 🙏🏽 https://youtu.be/4aFBirPa5Bk?si=lgxbtCU6GPF37La3
Your Past Deserves Compassion.
Not control over your future. There are things that happened to you that greatly hurt. I want to take this moment to honour that. Some of them scarred you. Some of them still live in your body. Some days you can feel them before you even name nor understand what you're going through. Honor that. Let yourself grieve what you didn't get. The father you needed. The love you were looking for. The years you feel you lost. The version of yourself you had to abandon just to survive. You don't have to disassociate that it didn't happen. But at some point, you have to stop handing that part of you the steering wheel. Because feeling sorry for yourself can become addictive. The story becomes the scapegoat of lost potential. "I'm damaged." "I'm behind." "I'm too late." "I should have figured this out years ago." And sometimes those statements sound like honest accountability. They're also a place to hide. You can spend another year explaining why you haven't moved. Or you can stand up and meet the life that's present for you now. Don't fall for the trap of healing everything before you start moving forward either. move with the grief. move with the fear. move with the parts of you that are still learning how to trust life again. Stop calling yourself late when you're using "late" as another reason to stay on the couch. Get up. Get moving. https://youtube.com/shorts/cRmDLKVsJtM?si=Fm-7rrxW024e6-5Z
Entities: What's Feeding On Your Attention
Bring your tinfoil hat for this one and an open mind. Strip the costume off the word demon and all you've got left is an entity. The old religions named them a long time ago. Lust. Gluttony. Fear. Envy. Pride. This episode we take them out of scripture and shine our lights of consciousness on them, in our states, moment to moment. Are you in fear right now? In pride? maybe it's not just a mood passing through. Entities live on your attention. Whatever you direct it on, your energy flows. Look at the machine we're inside of now. The news runs on fear. The scrolling runs on lust. Compare yourself to another man online and you've handed yourself to envy. The thoughts come carrying the tone of your own voice, which is the whole trick. They sound like you. Me & Jarne kept coming back to that, the work of getting quiet enough to tell the difference between a thought that's yours and a whisper that isn't. We went into the harder ground too. Growing up feeling followed by something. Facing it in the mirror. Fear and pride bending a whole family out of shape, the imprints handed down before anyone could name them. Why spiritual bypassing doesn't work, and what it actually took to sit in constant fear and not run from it. The soul is a fractal of God and stays pure no matter what it's been through. Nothing can touch a man standing in his own power. The defence was never a weapon but a decision to stay present. A present man is harder to feed on. This is part one. We go over part two next week. Sit With Truth
I've been finding joy of connecting writings of my recent book with nature's scenes that I come across, the connection made as the book was written to bring a felt sense rather then preaching like heirophant. A man's sight is directly correlated to his boundaries. You do not lose your clarity all at once. You lose it quietly. A yes when you meant no. A truth softened to keep the peace. Each small bend stirs the water a little more, until you are moving through your own life half blind, wondering why nothing feels clear anymore. I know that fog. I lived in it for years, and called it being easy to get along with. But truth does something to your sight. The moment you stop performing, stop bending, and let your words be few and true, the water settles. Your vision opens. You start to see what was hidden. In yourself, in the people around you, in the road ahead. It is not about becoming harsh. It is about becoming clear. And if you feel like you have not seen your own life clearly in a long time, I want to acknowledge you. The fog is not a flaw in you. It is just years of small bends, and it can settle. I wrote The Sacred Return for this kind of clearing. A thirty day walk back into your own truth https://youtube.com/shorts/JC-bzjiHMWk?si=lv2-5q2-s7L6ewVi
